We bought this for our 10 year old grandson and he loves it. I was told it was easy to assemble.

I want to start out by saying that I have always been an astronomy nerd, but only recently started getting into studying things on a regular basis. I absolutely should have been an astronomer, but I went into the arts and humanities instead. Long story short, I now have way too many health issues to even consider going back to school. Multiple chronic pain disorders, hernias, mental health, you name it. So I study astronomy in my free time, and it's therapeutic for me. I binge watch How the Universe Works frequently. It keeps me going through all the pain I have to deal with. Knowing how much bigger than ourselves the universe is allows me to put things into perspective and cope.Now on to the telescope itself. I got this telescope for myself for Christmas (you gotta treat yourself too!) It is not amazing, it is not spectacular, you're not going to see nebulae and other galaxies. But it is a cheap telescope that works great for beginners like myself.Tonight, July 23rd/24th 2020, all of the planets are visible in the sky. Most just look like little dots from here, but Jupiter is very visible. I could see Jupiter with this clearly. It was small, but clear enough to see its layers! I almost started crying I was so excited! I am on the top floor of an apartment on the Gulf Coast of Florida. There's a freaking floodlight on the roof near me. I can use this telescope from my screened in porch and still see things well. If I wanted to, I could go down to the beach, but I didn't need to tonight. I am so excited to be able to observe other planets, even if they're small from here. I am hooked now and plan to save up for a really expensive telescope for myself. I don't drive, I work from home, so instead of buying a car, I'm gonna get a really amazing telescope! lolFor what this telescope costs and what it promises, it's perfect!

Really easy to install and the brightness is on point

I got it for Valentine's Day!!and it is what I have Ben wanting a tescope all this time!!

I have not traveled with this product, but I do like the said that it gives and it lasts for a while. The top is a little hard to get off but once you learn how to put your pinky in and pull it up it works great!

I got this as an upgrade to my folding telescope for watching ships passing by in the Sound. It works quite well for that. On clear days, I can even see clear across to the other side well enough to pick out meaningful features like houses & docks.The biggest downside of this telescope is now I want one with even *more* magnification XD

Works great and has so many options! Use it every night!
