My husband and I really like this product a lot. It's really easy to use and to setup was fairly easy as well. The monitor works great and the quality of it is really good. The only issue I have with the camera monitor itself is the battery life. The battery life in the beginning was amazing but overtime, it's starting to decline. Which is expected if you're using it every day like we are but, I didn't think the battery would not be able to hold a full charge frequently like it is now. We had to get a battery replacement for the original battery which is not an issue but just something worth brining up.The customer support however is really amazing! I spoke with someone named Vanessa and she was a pleasure to speak with. She was very informative, understanding, empathic, and willing to accommodate us within her means. Having that level of customer support is a game changer and makes it more worth while to trust this product. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone in need of a new baby monitor!

Thisbwas my second kit for my other home. They work great despite the arlo flaw of a delay but hey ifnyoy don't want a delay just get a wired system.Hands down the best wireless security camera system you can get

I bought this for my mom who has dementia. This DXR-8 is much much better than the V-tech monitor that I had previously purchased. It is so easy to pan left to right and up and down and also to adjust the brightness right through the "shortcut" button. The picture is so much better than the V-tech; I can actually see my mom even in the dark ! It is not grainy like the previous monitor, and the picture does not freeze. It is so clear that I have had no need yet to try the Zoom lens. I also like that the picture turns off after 3 or 5 minutes (so as not to keep me awake), and then I can turn it on by pushing the top button if I hear a noise through the monitor to see what she is up to. This monitor makes my life so much easier and allows me to get more sleep.

The camera works great and has survived the winter recording all motion in front of it. For the most part it works as described however there are some minor things I would've wanted to know.- The recordings are saved in 10 second increments- The motion detector is pretty sensitive (had some false alarms) and cannot point it at the sidewalk 15 ft away because it catches all people walking past- Seemed slow in colder temps in picking up motionFYI - Only have "free" account right now

The most obvious advantage of the Arlo is the fact it is entirely wireless. No wires to run, no power cables, just stick the mount up and the camera attaches to it magnetically. Image quality is excellent, and the clips it records are smooth, full-motion videos.. None of the jerky stop-motion of lesser cameras. The clips are stored in the cloud, so they're available from anywhere, and storage under the basic plan is free. Who could ask for more? My only concern is that the camera is vulnerable to theft from its magnet mount, but the convenience outweighs the concern. And at least the thief will be recorded as he takes it. This is the best system I've come across, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Excellent security camera system. My Wife loves the APP on her IPAD to view either live or recorded video. I did buy the VideoSecu Wall/Ceiling mount system so the camera is screwed to a mount rather than on the magnetic mount. I did this so it is not so easy to take off the mount being outside in the front of the house. We have one set up in both our kids rooms and This camera is amazing, the only reason I gave 4 stars is because we have had to get replacements twice for the camera. One the night visits on stopped working about 1.5 years in and the other was just fuzzy from the beginning. That said, when they are working they are great. And both times having to work with customer support, they have been great about working with me for a replacement quickly.

We initially bought the Arlo for home security. From unboxing to installing to viewing on our app, it probably only took about 15 minutes. The magnetic mount is setup with a single screw and you can manually adjust the angle of the camera. As a note, if you're installing this outside the easy of installation goes both ways - anyone could come by and steal the camera by just pulling it off. At least you'll (hopefully) get a picture of their face!The application settings are not very intuitive though, so it took some time to get the application set up the way we wanted. You can adjust the sensitivity for the motion tracker, which we found necessary as we posted the camera on our porch and passing cars often set it off. The picture is clear, even with infrared at night, notifications are great, and it has helped with our sense of security.Pros: Motion-tracking; easy to setup and use; works great, camera itself is well designed and aesthetically pleasingCons: Application and settings are not as intuitive as we would like; in our experience the batteries did not last long, but they are easy to replaceBottom Line: Great working and looking product with some minor annoyances
