I think this could be a great product but mine has stoped functioning properly shortly after buying around 60 days later. Maybe I got a dud.

We used this camera to monitor our pet as he recovered from surgery. It was perfect for being able to check on him throughout the day while we worked. The motion detection notifications come at the sensitivity and frequency of your choosing, which was convenient. It was also easy to adjust the camera, rotate it, and check in on things in a live setting. Super easy to set up and configure.My biggest complaint is that in the app, I hate the location of the alarm button. I have accidentally tapped it and set it off 3x over the last month and given myself, my husband, and our pet minor heart attacks in the process. Definitely would be great if you needed it for security though! That thing is LOUD

Sometimes the app doesn't work and I can't control the settings or view.

I've been extremely happy with this purchase - ended up needing a second webcam for my son's distance learning during the pandemic, and my last Amcrest had been doing so well, decided to get this one.So far in Google Meet and Teams, we've run into no issues and the video quality in my poorly lit office has been pretty outstanding. The quality is significantly better than everyone else in the call (since they're mostly using tiny built-in laptop cameras).Definitely going to stick with Amcrest's cameras should the need for another arise!

I wanted a security camera but did not have an electrical outlet near my front porch. Saw that this unit worked on solar power and purchased it. My front door is in a recessed alcove but the 10 foot wire from the solar panel to the camera gave me an adequate length to install the panel. I was a little concerned that the tall trees in my front yard would not allow for adequate light for keeping the unit powered but that has not been an issue after a week of using this camera. Checking the battery levels, I seem to be fully charged at all times.Installation was easy as was downloading the app and linking the camera unit to my cellphone. I really liked the way the app walked me through the process.Motion detection sends an alert to my phone and I may interact with someone at my front door with my cellphone easily. Picture resolution and sound are both excellent! That was really important to me as I live in the country and rarely knew when packages were delivered.Picture quality was quite clear as you may see from my attached photos including at night. I'm glad I have this unit watching my front porch.

I only used this camera for checking on my dog when I wasn’t home. It worked great for this.

Great little camera. We use it to monitor our 6 mo. old Lab pup. Couldn't be happier with this purchase, works great and for the price.... unbeatable.Very pleased.
