After getting a higher quality webcam for work, I was having issues with my face being shadowed. I work in an internal office, no windows, and the lights are behind my face. I was looking for something small, easy to use that would attach to my screen and be out of the way. This lights works perfect and has brought me out of the shadows. Plus, love that it comes with a tri-pod, so if I am traveling, I don't have to worry about poor lighting with just my laptop camera.

When I found that my old Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000 was not compatible with my new Dell computer running Windows 8.1 (64 bit), I searched Logitech for a replacement. I have always been satisified with Logitech's product solutions which are usually at very reasonable prices. My choices came down to the HD Wecam C615 and the HD Pro Webcam C920. In reviewing the specifications for each, I found that the perfomance difference was extremely small for the increased (43%) price of the C920, and that for my application, the Carl Zeiss optics were not warranted. Both are HD 1080p cameras. I have since seen both in use, and I think the C615 captures the color spectrum as good or better.I like the autofucus feature, but I have had some problems utilizing the Webcam Controller in conjunction with Windows 8.1 Camera software. However, I am working with Logitech to resolve this software issue, and I am confident that a solution will be afforded.

The device itself is pretty amazing quality. There are many reviews to see online. However, the bottleneck occurs with which chat program you use to webcam with somebody. I bought this for my girlfriend, who has a PC (Windows Vista), and I use an iMac. We've decided to use gmail's videochat feature to talk w/ each other, and although the video quality doesn't necessarily translate, the high framerate still does.The device mounts well to flatscreen LCD's or laptops. It's well worth the cost, and I'm sure will be used for the next 2 years.

The darkness has gone away with this light switch. No more awkward zoom meetings with you moving around to get the perfect lighting. I use this on top of my webcam for my Mac to provide lighting to my face during zoom calls. It has helped me so much since majority of my calls I’ve had to move where there was lighting. The brightness can be turned up or down depending on your situation and preference. Overall it’s actually a really good product and useful during the pandemic.

This is a great webcam to use, super easy to install for anyone even if you are not electronic savvy, clear directions, very compact camera, has a clip attachment as well as a free standing option. Impressive, good image resolution for such a small portable web cam. It arrived fast, very happy with my purchase, money well spent for a great quality product. You will not regret buying it. Highly, highly recommend it.

I use it as an office webcam, mounted over a door. At first I was hesitant because of the "fixed focus" talk in the comments but that only applies for real closeup shots which I don't do. The camera has my whole office in it's view and is on focus everywhere. Speed is also good, cable is pretty long although I had to use an active USB extender to reach the computer. Windows 10 recognized it without any problems. All in all I'm very happy with this.

I bought my Pro 9000 back in January to use as a weathercam for my private weather station. I send the image to Weather Underground as well as several other weather web sites around the world. I needed something that could handle 24/7/365 use and also be able to deliver a great image of the outdoors and the sky!Not only has the 9000 exceeded my expectations, its reliability has been very impressive. I know that this camera is not designed to be used for capturing images outdoors, nor intended to be used non-stop 24 hours a day, but it handles both with ease. I am constantly getting emails from people who use my weather station's data for their local weather forecasts complimenting me on how beautiful my webcam image is. I wish I could post an image here for you to see, but Amazon does not allow that.I am using mine on a Macintosh computer and it works perfectly using the standard Logitech drivers Apple provides in OSX. I control my 9000 with a very cool webcam program for Macintosh called EVOcam. We also have the Mac version that I am using for another project indoors, and I am equally satisfied with that unit's performance.Bottom line... If you are buying this for a video conferencing/video chat camera, have no fear! Based on my use, you should be VERY happy with the image quality, AND it should last you a lifetime! Not many buyers will have their 9000 running 24/7/365 like my little workhorse does!

Neil Armstrong made the famous statement "one small step...." when he stepped off onto the moon. Now Logitech can say something similar because this webcam is a HUGE leap ahead of their previous models, and changes the paradigm of using an external webcam vs the built in unit on your computer!As a owner of a number of their previous models...the latest of which was their 910...I wasn't sure you could really advance much, or really see a major difference in webcame, but I have been happily mistaken. The quality and features of this 4K Ultra are absolutely exceptional!As an Auctioneer, I simulcast a lot of my auctions on the internet, as well as host webinars on related subjects. My MacBook Pro has been "sufficient", but lacks a lot of extra detail, or the ability to change width formats and zoom. For streaming in 4K video, this is a real DREAM! Setup was painless, and I had no problems using the USB3 connector with a new USB-C adapter on my newest MacBook. The computer recognized the webcam instantly, and it was off to the races. Software was perfectly adequate for my needs, and as expected, recorded video was much bigger than standard HD in size. The ability of the cam to adjust to various light conditions automagically is phenomenal, and worth the purchase all by itself. I love the smart move of including a shade to hide the cam lens, so that hackers who might have the skills, cannot use your webcam to watch you or your surroundings unless you want them to. The unit also allows for the control of bokeh....or blurring the background behind the subject. Awesome! Finally, a HUGE surprise was the audio recording quality which really blew me away. Far superior to my onboard mics, and truly business class as advertised.I could not be more pleased with this new webcam from Logitech. The price is relatively steeper than others, but the quality, performance, and operation is peerless in my opinion. My viewers also agree and have commented on the quality as they view my vlogs or webinars.Highest possible recommendation! Would happily give more than five stars if it were possible!
