Camera works great! Love the ring light feature, it is very bright so it works perfect in all types of settings. Obvious it's a small light so it can only do so much with lighting. I've seen some reviews complaining that it's not bright enough in a pitch dark room & I don't think it's meant to be. It's small but bright enough for you to be visible on camera.I'm giving this 4 out of 5 stars because as other people have commented, there is a very slight wiring high pitch noise that you can hear on video playback. I mainly use this camera for work meetings on Zoom & my coworkers have told me the video quality is great and they can see me clearly but not sure if the noise is heard when you're using the cam live. My niece used my camera to record a project for her music class, and when playing back the video you can clearly hear the high pitch noise. It's minimal but for someone like me who notices the small details it definitely bothered me and was not happy about the video playback quality.Other than that the camera is great, has a long cord giving you enough length to mount the camera wherever you'd like. The grip is easy to apply to any monitor or laptop screen but it does take some time getting used to it. Overall I recommend for teens or for adults who plan to use this just for webcamming. If you're looking for high end quality video playback, look somewhere else.

This is a great little camera that works well for video calls. The only downside that I didn't pick up on in the description is that there is no zoom capability.

I had the 40D for 2 years and I got some great pictures. From landscape to portraits to sports, the 40D performed well. It is built well. The LCD is nice, but not too impressive. The continuous shooting rate is nice. It was fast enough to shoot sports. Noise was also well controlled at higher ISOs (compared to rebel xs). The only problem I had was getting the error 99. I would have to turn the camera off and on again to get rid of it. Sometimes I would shoot and every 10 pictures or so I would get the error. Others times I wouldn't get it at all. It seems to be a common problem with no solution. I had a good experience with the 40D until I starting getting those errors. The Canon 40D is a great camera to learn and grow on but I would not count on it lasting too long. It is an old camera.

I am very happy with this purchase! I’m saving it as a Christmas gift for my grandson. However, I did take it out, charged it, and played around with the various options. There are numerous filters and the fact that you can switch it to selfie mode is great! The packaging was good and I think the price was on point. It’s just the right size for his hands(he’ll be 6).I’m not sure about the age range for this though. I can’t see a 3 year old being able to adjust the various filters, zoom, and flash…but I could be wrong.I’ll try to remember to update this once he actually uses it.

This is my second review, deleted the first because they reached out to me asking for a second chance and sent a new unit to me. This one appears to have better resolution. It is a kids camera and if you display a photo on a large monitor it will be grainy. The photos that accompany the product offering appear way nicer than reality. Again, a kids camera. The build quality seems really good and having the waterproof case and silicone protector/easy hand holding is really a thoughtful addition. I think it would take a concerted effort to break the camera when surrounded by those items. As with most non-USA products the manual takes a bit to understand, I never understand why they do not employ an English speaker to re-write what they have attempted to convey.Conclusion-Is it worth the price, Yes. Definitely needs adult assistance for initial operation. Age group? 3 to 5, it teaches them the basics. Older than that, get them a camera with way better resolution if you can afford it ($250 + range).

The quality is great on this, but one negative is that the field of vision is very wide compared to my old camera and people can see the clutter in my room. Not a bad thing I suppose if you are using it with a large group. Works with Windows 10 and 11.

Love the quality. Love the "attachability" to the top of a display. Love the ability to swivel and tilt the camera on it's attachment. Love the low cost.

Using for Zoom calls, presentations and conferences. Works like a charm. Took only couple minutes to set it up. Would recommend it
