Excellent video quality and works with a Mac.
I would recommend this product. The video quality is outstanding. I have been getting lots of compliments during video conferencing calls. There is literally no set up required, just plug in the USB cable and then hang the web-cam on your monitor. I'm using a MacBook Pro, which required me to purchase separately an Apple USB-C to USB adapter.

Great for the price
I am using this webcam with my Mac Mini 2011 primarily, but I have also tried it with my Acer laptop as a secondary camera. It works well with both of them. Set up was easy after I realised I needed to go to the Logitech website and download and install the camera settings software.One note: On the Mac it would not show video pic while using a USB hub extension (although the device was detected and receiving power), but after I plugged it in directly there were no problems so I think my USB hub is for an older gen of USB devices and wasn't supported.

it Works great! One thing is
The package contains only the camera... yes, that's it!You have to google "mobius manual" to download the manual and the configuration program yourself.After proper configuration, it Works great!One thing is, if you want to swap the battery with a super capacitor, in addition to setting the power off disconnect to "immediate", you also have to use the cigarette charger for mini usb directly ( I tried using a cigarette charger to standard USB, then convert the standard USB to a mini usb, the camera will always lose the last video record).

Quality video, a bit flaky on USB 2.0
This camera is a big step up from the internal camera on my laptop. However, the video would freeze during Google Hangouts and Skype calls. It took me a long time to realize that the freezes only happen when I'm plugged into one of my USB 2.0 ports. Plugging into the USB 3.0 hub appears to be more reliable. I tested this on both Debian Jesse and Fedora 19.

Now requires subscription to record motion
Update- camera is being replaced as of 4/10/22 due to camera not working properly. Weird thing is that the table on amazons app with description of plans or no plans does not have the motion video portion checked or asterisked saying it’s possible with sync and usb storage.Prior to updates you were able to record motion video clips to the local usb via the blink sync module 2. The whole reason I bought this was the function to record motion onto the usb and not have to subscribe to a monthly subscription.

It works great, but you need a powerful PC to run
This camera works great, the only issue I've had is you cannot use it with a usb extension cable. I've seen posts that an active (powered) usb extension cable will work, but I used a high quality 3.0 extension cable and it made the video choppy, glitchy, and cut out. For the camera to work perfectly you must use the included cable, connected directly to a USB 3.0 port on the PC (not through a dock or USB hub).It runs fine up to 1080p 30fps. Once you set the camera to 1080p 60fps, or 4k, it will start to eat your CPU. I have a 2017 macbook pro with an i7, and it uses about 20% CPU on 1080p 60fps, and over 60% of the CPU for 4k. If are you are doing is video chatting, this will be fine. But if you plan to video chat while playing a game or doing something else, you'll need a beefy CPU to handle the load.
