I researched many camera systems after purchasing my new home. There are a lot of options out there all with their own unique set of features and limitations. Then I stumbled upon Amcrest. I first heard about them from some friends who had them and liked them so I decided to give them a try and I am not disappointed. The 2.8mm 4k turret camera is amazing! The amount of detail and clarity this camera provides is at the top of its league. I frequently show the live feed to friends and family and they can’t believe how clear the image is and how easy it is to make out details from the camera. You can zoom in on the blades of grass in the lawn and not lose any clarity, which is impressive for such a wide field of view. Then there’s the nighttime image quality, which again is top of class in my opinion. It is amazing how much this camera can see with such a limited amount of light at night. If you have this camera aimed at your driveway you can pick up everything from your cars, to people walking in the road, and animals, all clear as day, except its nighttime! Overall, I am super impressed with this camera and the rest of the Amcrest ecosystem. Finally, one of the major factors for picking out a camera was the looks! I didn’t want my house to look like Fort Knox with big boxy cameras pointed in every direction, but these Amcrest turret style cameras are extremely sleek and low profile. They don’t stand out and if you place them strategically, they are not obvious once mounted. All in all, I am thoroughly impressed with Amcrest as a brand, and these turret cameras. I can’t wait to purchase more to finish total coverage of my yard!

 THe picture in the ball camera is a good size, very clear and the zoom is excellent. The night vision works very well. For the battery, it claims to go six months without charging. For the first week we saw little power drain. To avoid manual charging we purchased the solar panel and the camer stays charged at 100%.The ball adjustmet to change the camera view is very useful and is a great feature that works as stated. It is very useful letting me adjust the sweep from my phone.The alarm is loud and the ligth is bright when turned on at night.I mounted this camera 20 feet from my house, and it's farther than that from the router. It connects like a champ.The software is easy to use and I have checked my camera from as far away as 80 miles from home with no issues. It can identify people, animals and vehicles in the clip. I love this feature as it makes it easy to indentify clips of interest.Mounting the camera took less than 20 minutes and all mounting hardware was include

Diving modeI only used a couple of days now and found out most of the features above are as described but I also found some cons below.1. 20MP photo is not as good/clear as my Galaxy Note 9 photo which is 12MP. I'm a bit disappointed here.2. In order to use the Remote, you need to turn on RF setting every time the camera is turned on. I guess the default setting is off and this is annoying especially when your camera is in the case as you can't use the touch screen to quickly turn it on. Not a deal breaker but could be nice if you can make it on all the time. (I guess it's off to save the battery life but it will be nice if I can choose)3. If the camera is in the case, sound is barely recorded. I guess this is for other cameras too and understandable. if you need sound, keep the camera out of the case.I don't have any other action camera so I can't tell if this camera is better or worse than others but it seemsgood camera for the price.I'm not sure about the 4k/30fps video yet. I did some recording on my bike but the area was shaded so the video qualitywas a bit noisy and couldn't tell if it's 4k quality.I'll try to take some more video and update the review.

I've always been happy with the physical quality of Logitech products, it's why I keep purchasing them. This is my third Logitech webcam and as before, the quality of the camera is marred by the underwhelming performance of the software. Most likely you won't use the actual body of software if you're within another product like Skype, however you're still likely going to use the controls. That's where my issue lies and docked it one star. Even though I would get the camera perfect and save the settings, upon reinitialization it would start all over and I'd have to adjust the settings again. When the camera is set, the image is fantastic and I'm happy with the audio quality as well. I imagine there will always be issues with the camera trying to set the image if it sits on the monitor and your face is being blasted with light from that source. Try the "Right Light" setting, it may or may not work for you, but don't let the software stop you from this quality camera.

The Akaso V50x is a great camera for the money. I’ve only played with it for an afternoon, but so far I am impressed. The touch screen is, in my opinion, better than the GoPro 7 Black, which I have used before. I think the interface is easier to use and it’s nice to be able to change the functions on the camera rather than on my phone.I’ve used the time lapse video the most and found it to be really good. I used it on a tripod and therefore did not require the EIS. The minimal video I have taken while walking around seems perfectly smooth for my purposes with the EIS enabled, especially for the price.The battery life is on par with the GoPro. I had it on for probably two hours playing with it and using the various functions. It died after filming a 30+ minute time lapse video in 2.7k.The 4K resolution is great, but for my purposes, I will probably stick with the lower resolutions to save memory and battery. I thought the 2.7k video was really good.The camera comes with a lot of different mounts and straps which is great. It comes with 2 batteries, which is good because they don’t last very long, but that is typical of action cameras. The camera is very light weight, and has a quality feel to it. It feels solid. The only gripe is the microSD is hard to both slot in and remove from the camera. You have to have a strong fingernail to release it.One cool thing about the camera is that you can charge the battery while using the camera. If you are taking an extended time lapse video, you can use an external battery to keep the camera going longer. The batteries themselves, from my experience charge from dead to 100% in about an hour, which I thought was pretty good.It is only day one of ownership. I’m really happy with the purchase.

The camera requires a proprietary app to setup, even if using HomeKit. Some other HomeKit accessories have a QR code to install at Apple Home app directly. This is not the case for C24 - it needs a proprietary app to initialize the camera first.However, iCloud+/ HomeKit functionality is more limited that Eufy’s native app:- Eufy has 2K video recording which is disabled when you are using iCloud- Eufy has sound / baby cry detection which is not possible with iCloudA very nice feature available in the native app is ability to record all video to a SD card, not just the events detected my sound and motion.Overall it’s a great camera that work well even without monthly subscription and have decent HomeKit / iCloud support. However, I feel iCloud itself is behind other systems (like Nest Aware) in terms of features.Not possible to add the camera to home kit without both:1. Purchasing an additional Homebase 2 accessory2. Using proprietary app to handle the data. The qr code on the camera itself is not HomeKit compatible.

My nephew has really taken a liking to snapping random photos. He was using a old iphone my sister gave him to play with. As soon as I saw this mini dslr camera I knew it would be perfect for him. It looks like a real mini camera. I played with it a bit before wrapping it up and it actually takes pretty nice pictures. It's a smaller scale which is great for smaller hands. My nephew is on the spectrum, he is super smart and has a good eye for taking great photos. This camera comes with a 32 gb memory card which will be great to get him started. He can take pics or videos with this. It has a few different settings, he can even add neat filters. The camera is lightweight and easy to operate. Its a nice starter camera to see if your little one really likes photography or just taking pics now and then. Its still pretty new to him but so far he has had a nice time playing with it and testing it out.

 Overall, this camera works pretty well. The rechargeable battery lasts about 2 months for us. Picture quality is fine and it has decent night vision. The wifi antenna could be stronger. This camera is not very far from the router, but it always says signal is weak. Also, this camera's motion detection could be better. It usually misses the first few seconds of motion. Or it records for no apparent reason. Even on medium setting it will trigger for false events, but when set to low, it will miss motion. Also wish it would record longer. Even when set to "auto" (which is supposed to keep recording up to 3 minutes until motion is no longer detected) the camera stops recording after about 10 seconds even if there is still activity in the field of view. All thing considered, I'm satisfied with this camera as it works well enough for our purpose. The app is easy and set up was simple. I have found the alarm feature useful. As the video shows, it does a good job of scaring off unwanted pests.
