I Bought this because I whore out my old G930 headset. The sound on this one is better. I am very happy with the G533.

I bought this machine in 2011 at an unclaimed baggage location. I had no idea what I had, I just knew I needed a white noise machine. I loved this machine. I love the ocean so that's the setting I used. It had depth and quality to the sound, everything you wanted to hear from the ocean. Fog horns, seals, birds, waves lapping, just amazing sound. We moved multiple times, traveled a lot and always took this machine with us. We were moving to AZ from AL and I was staying with my son and took the machine with me. When it was time to move into our house I unplugged it, took it to the our new house, plugged it in, it didn't work. I have no idea what happened.We tried to go without, using one you can download onto your phone. But it was just not the same. 8 months I went without it. Finally, I decided it was worth it. I had read the negative reviews, which stopped me from buying it for the 8 months. I thought, when I find one I like as much as the Ecotones one then I'll buy it. I couldn't. I thought, "I had one for 4 years without any problems and loved it. Why am I letting the few negative reviews prevent me from buying it again?" So I bought it again. I still love it.What people may not know, and I have no idea if this information is in the description, but there is a mode that you can switch to drown out other sounds. Like, if there is a dog barking outside, Ecotones hears that sound and increases the noise to cover the sound. Sometimes its annoying if you're talking to your spouse in bed while this is on, you have to keep raising your voice before you realize, just turn it off!!! lol I use the Ocean noise with full richness.I bought this a few weeks ago and it works perfectly. if something happens to it in a short period of time I'll update my review. But for now.....my recommendation is for you to buy it!

By far the best product. I am a veteran and have mental disorders and tinnitus which is basically a non stop ringing in my ears. This is the only way for me to fall asleep now and I can finally have a full night of sleep.

Having read a number of reviews, I finally bought this; not knowing how good it would be 'in real life'. But I am not disappointed.I have tried it in comparison to an SM58, and apart from having marginally less treble; which I can obviously adjust, it sounds very, very close in quality. Which makes me really pleased with it, and that for a lot less than buying a new SM58.

Took a few days to find the right sound track and tone adjustments but now I found the crickets and water to be EXCELLENT to sleep by.The adaptive technology was my primary interest in this unit but I have found it is sort of a time laps type of thing, The delay between the sounds and the actual adjustments was not effective in my environment and so I just turned it off. The constant sounds at the correct volume has worked out very well.
