I like all the features on the light especially the fact that it has the ability to change the color temperature and brightness of the light. It’s got some other features that are good for filmmaking and such. Features like creating flashing red and blue lights to make it look like there’s a police car nearby. There’s one that looks like lightning and many many others.The unit is good quality and gives off a very soft light. It has plenty of brightness to use on a computer or anywhere where the light has to be relatively close to you. I am actually using mine for shooting my reviews on Amazon and other places. I use it to light the product when I’m shooting a video.It comes with a small tripod stand which is very convenient. My only complaint about it is that I cannot tilt the light. There are no adjustments other than sliding the tripod around to different locations. Sometimes I like to tilt my light to create different effects. It’s no big deal to me because I have another tripod that has a ball head on it, so I am able to do what I need, but it would’ve been nice to have that included with this kit.My only other complaint is that while cycling through the special FX modes on the light it’s hard to land on the exact mode that I want because it is such a touchy wheel. If I want to click one mode away from where Im at, sometimes it goes two or three. Very hard to adjust but again I’m not going to be using all the different modes. If you are, just know that it’s a little tricky, but once it’s in the selected mode you’ll be all set.The battery life seems great. It’s easy to recharge with the included cable.Another big bonus is the digital readout on the back of the light. It tells you exactly what color temperature you’re at. If you’re looking for a solid color there is a color chart on the back that guide you into reaching exactly what color you need by dialing in the correct number.Right out of the box the light is easy to use and feels great. I’m confident that this will last many years. I highly recommend it. The few drawbacks it has are minuscule compared to the many features packed into this little unit. I also feel the price is very fair.

I work from home and have meetings all day. I had a problem with my lighting, it might be good in the morning but by the afternoon my skin tone got more and more orange. I would have to bring in lamps and other sources of light just to have my skin tones adequate. Then a patient told me about "ring lighting". I had never heard of it but got on Amazon and it was delivered the next day. What a difference the Ring Light Clip made! I work off of a lap top and it clips on perfectly. It is easy to set up and the controls for the different types of light are easy to understand and change on a moments notice. I especially like the ability to change the intensity of the light. The Ring Light also comes with a tripod that allows a person to have the light independent from the computer but I have found that clipping it to the computer so it shines on me directly is the best way.I highly recommend this product!

I've used a number of GVM lights, Bi-Color LED Video Light and this is going to become of my favourite tools. Most of my lights are daylight (5600K), and it's great to have a light I can cycle from 3200K to 5600K without having to gel the lights.A few things I like:-Comes with a sturdy, light stand that folds up quite compactly-Can control the lights through the app-Bi-Color LED Video Lights are relatively light-Bowens mount, and comes with a lantern light modifierThe assembly of the tripod and monobloc was way but the softbox was extremely time consuming and challenging. It is not hard, but requires a lot of practice and finding the best technique to assemble. If you can manage the storage of the box assembled, that would be best because it is not a fast set up. The rib rods are flexible which helps but there was almost no instructions on how to assemble. Fortunately, I have worked with these types before. The attachment mount is a Bowen’s mount and stays on once fully connected, but that will require double confirmation because it is spring load secured vs insert-twist.The tripod is a standard workable Height range and folds easy.I do like working with this Bi-Color LED Video Light kit because produces good light but doesn’t get too hot.Overall, it is a good light that I can use in a pinch with consistent soft light. Once you ge the softbox assembled, it becomes very easy to use and not complicated.I recommend buying this excellent Bi-color led video lights.***Update*** i had been using the wrong GVM app, for these lights, use the GVM LED app which uses bluetooth, rather than wifi in the "GVM" app

I received my Ring light with tripod yesterday, it was very easy to put together. The instructions were very easy to understand, & I was very pleased with what I got for the price. All parts are good quality, sturdy, & I liked that I could plug it in instead of using a USB. The remote is a plus. Looking forward to playing with my new toy this weekend.

Right out of the box, the ring light was super easy and intuitive to set up and get working - I had it set up in less than a minute. It has 3 different color options for the light and you can make it dimmer or brighter which I thought was really cool. The tripod is sturdy and easy to adjust. It also comes with a holder for your phone that goes in the center of the light. I have a samsung galaxy s9+ with a otterbox phone case and it fit but I think if my phone were just a big bigger it wouldn't - but a typical samsung or iphone should be just fine as long as your case isn't bulky!

I am a noob photographer. This seems like a heck of a deal. Right now, I am just learning my way. This light, mixed with the price point, I couldn’t pass it up.This light is dimmable. Warm and cool colors. This fits on top of my camera where the flash is supposed to go. It also has slots to add more lights (or accessories) on the side and top. It also has a 1/4x20 threaded hole for a tripod mount. I have not set up shots for this, but I have taken a few sample photos.These photos are of the light itself. I have taken some samples and I will upload them once I get back on my computer.10/10 would recommend for a new photographer looking for an entry level, nonRGB, rechargeable light.

As many of you my professional life has moved online. I work as a teacher and film/tv actor. For online meetings, this thing is great as it lights up you face well and doesn't cast harsh shadows behind you. For taped auditions it's very bright and lights up a medium-wide shot no problem. No fancy light kit required. It comes with a tripod, a cellphone holder, a universal mount thing; there's a lot in the box and it's easy to set the thing up anywhere and anyhow you want. The quality is so-so. The light itself is good and bright with three colour settings, natural, warm, and cool. It doesn't flicker and is consistent throughout. The tripod and attachments are all cheap feeling plastic but at this price point you shouldn't expect more. It's good enough just for a light but I wouldn't bang it around or anything.A side benefit I noticed is that my family has relegated me to the basement for my home office, there's no windows or natural light there. After one morning meeting I left the light on and noticed I worked better throughout the day, it was like having a window there. Not a very scientific experiment but I've been leaving it running all day and out of the corner of you eye it does feel like a window and is helping me stay focused on work.

I added the light behind my computer monitor to increase the visibility of the camera for Zoom viewing and also for online team communications, etc.The light did provide better illumination for the online calls - - and was better than just direct overhead lighting.A clip was provided that could be attached to a monitor with a decent edge - - my monitor does not have enough edge to avoid contact with the screen - so I used the provided Tripod which worked successfully.Need a USB power source for this to work.Includes a switch to turn off/on and to manage lighting intensity.
