Great outdoor speaker
Great quality sound is good and carries. I use it to play music while doing outdoor murals, it fills the area, the b boys borrowed it for practice in a park and it was plenty for them too

Great for fill & triggering off-shoe flash
The 90EX was designed for the EOS M kit, but works on any E-TTL capable camera. I bought the 90EX to serve as the missing "popup" for my 6D and trigger off-shoe E-TTL Speedlites. The Guide Number of 30 ft/9m at ISO 100 means the 90EX has power output similar to a popup flash. So what's the 90EX good for? As a flash, it works great for close fill-in flash, snapshots or macro when used on an off-shoe cord. It is not not powerful enough for group shots. With Sanyo Eneloop AAA batteries, recycle is about 2 seconds at full power. I haven't tried alkaline batteries but reviewers report alkaline recycling takes twice as long as rechargeable batteries. The unique feature of the 90EX is the wireless E-TTL master function: triggers slaves with auto or manual modes controlled from the camera flash menu. In this regard it's better than the dedicated ST-E2 master: brighter and more reliable trigger, controls 3 slave groups rather than only two and is useful as a flash when not performing master duties. The 90EX uses light pulses to trigger so line of sight to slaves is required. Swivel the slave body so the sensor faces towards the 90EX. Reflective surfaces indoors (e.g., white walls) will often carry the trigger pulse even if faced the wrong way. However, outdoors they will not trigger without direct line-of-sight.Other than an on-off switch, there are no external controls. To set options, use the flash menu on 2007 and newer EOS cameras. On my 6D, everything is operational except for FEB and high speed sync. However, high speed sync is available in master mode (trigger mode). Flash exposure compensation can be set with external camera controls, the QCS or flash menu. What I like best about the 90EX is it's so small and light I can keep it in my bag all the time. My larger Speedlite gets left behind if I'm not positive I need it. All in all a wonderful petite flash for snapshots, close fill and as an E-TTL controller.

For Those Looking for Subscription Free
I was looking for an inexpensive camera that did not require a monthly subscription. I already own a bunch of Kasa switches so I figured and this camera was on sale for prime day so I figured, why not.Pros: Price, Kasa integration, Video Quality, Live camera load timeCons: Motion sensing, recorded video load timeLike the switches, it was very easy to install. Integrates well with Kasa app which is nice if you already use other kasa products. Picture quality is great and surprisingly loads up faster than my Arlo doorbell. Night vision, light, siren all worked better than expected. Where the camera lacks is motion sensing. The slightest change in anything sets motion off. Bright light from car headlights in the activity area will set the camera off. I've tinkered with the settings but haven't figured out a way to prevent this yet. Another con is the load time to view recorded videos. Sometimes it will take a few seconds, most times it's around 10 seconds, or every so often more. Once loaded, it's pretty easy to use. I have a 128 gb card and will record around 10-14 days of video, which is sufficient for my uses.Overall, I'm pretty satisfied. A brand name camera at the price of a no name brand that is very stable and doesn't have additional fees.

Really Cool Cellular camera at great price and val
I am in final stages of testing this camera but so far , I am really impressed. This is just the coolest small cellular camera, great photo quality ( currently set on highest quality) and for the low price this unit is an amazing value. I have purchased and successfully run Spartan Go Cams in the past but for this time was looking for a bargain and this camera fits the bill. It's program functions through SpyPoint app are great and while not as advanced as Spartan are all I need for a security camera. Some reviews on this camera stated its a cheap looking and you felt like opening the camera access door would snap it right off,. I disagree. It has a very compact design, the door latch is tight but the unit is very well built . Only issue I have so far involves the Sb-300 security box, very difficult to get this unit in and out of the box with antenna support clip installed. However the coverage Is still good, minor interference if at all. Once I complete coverage trials on location I plan to modify box for more easy fit and add a solar panel as the batteries run fine on batch data dump schedule options but not on instantaneous download. So to keep the photo quality set high and have immediate photo viewing and download , you need an external power source i.e. Solar panel or direct line power.

Poor man's gopro
The media could not be loaded.
For $30 or less can't complain. Will point out the video quality is pretty bad. Although the file states its a 1080p recording it really looks like 480p. Wish it was easier to tell if its recording or not too.Used it for a model rocket camera. The camera itself is a little under a 1" cube, weighs about 10g. Taped the camera to a cheap estes starter kit rocket with two nickels on the opposite side to balance it out. Didn't have enough wadding in the rocket and the parachute strings burned off so didn't get the nice return to ground view. The attached video is with a B6 engine. The sound pickup on it is pretty good, especially for under $30. Great for a model rocket at least since no big deal if it gets lost / damaged.I imagine if you hooked it up to a usb power supply it would work OK as a backup security camera if cops or other criminals see your visible cameras and remove them when breaking into your house. Haven't tried the motion recording at all.Detailed instructions and videos are available which made figuring out the camera buttons pretty easy. Also came with a bunch of accessories for clipping the camera to stuff, a usb adapter for a mini sd card, and a short usb cord. For the cost I'm really happy with it, and the clear instructions and accessories are a nice bonus.

Great gift for active kids
“This product has been provided to me by VTech so I could experience it with my family; however, the thoughts and opinions are all my own.”I love that this fun and durable digital camera and video recorder is made with active kids in mind! The camera is very light weight but made of strong plastic with a rubber bumper that acts as a shock absorber against drops and tumbles. The waterproof case is also very effective and has a clever clip design on the side that it is simple enough for kids to open and close, but still makes a tight, waterproof seal.I also love that VTech included a slot in the camera for a mini SD card, (not included with the camera) for extra storage space. I would highly recommend getting a good mini SD card if you are looking to get this camera, as your kids are going to want to use it for hours worth of footage! The camera also has a built in rechargeable Li-ion Polymer battery, which I love for easy recharging. The charging cord charges through a computer USB port or can be used with the same charging USB charging block as most smartphones. The battery lasts for approximately 2.5 hours of continuous photo taking and recording. The camera does not come charged up, so if you are giving this as a gift, you may want to take it out and charge it ahead of time, so that it will be ready for your kids to use immediately. The camera itself has a 1.4-inch color video camera LCD screen and can take videos, photos, stop-motion videos and time-lapse photos. Keep in mind that the photos and videos are not professional quality, (Photo resolution is 640-x-480, or 0.3 megapixels). However, the pictures and videos do come out clear and all of the special effects features work well, making it the perfect starter action-cam for my kids' backyard shots. If you have active kids, the Kidizoom Action Cam by VTech is a great way to give them a gift that is as tough and long-lasting as they are. It will help them capture all of their bouncing-moving-running-doing from the time they wake up to the time they go to bed moments!

Great product for the price.
Yi is a sub division of Xiaomi that specializes in various types of cameras. They usually make pretty high quality stuff that pack lots of features at an affordable price point, this product is no exception. It comes well packaged and includes a 6ft micro usb cable and charging brick. The camera itself is very stylish and has a clean design. I was very surprised when I first powered up the camera and heard the clarity of the speaker in the camera. The YI Home App is very intuitive and guides you step by step. This is a smart camera so it will need to connect to wifi to complete the set up and it will let you know this too. There is also space for an SD card (i believe 32gb is the max) and this is where the camera will store its recorded footage too. There is also the option to connect to the Yi cloud service for a monthly fee and this will give you the benefit of viewing and downloading footage wherever you are. I personally did not try this method.Once you setup the camera in your desired place the actual image quality isnt bad. It gives you too quality options which are SD & HD, the latter takes more recording space but is clearer. I really love the intercom feature where you can speak through the app and your voice can be heard from the camera. This is really neat. The built in mic picks up sound easily and this can be heard through your smartphone, there is also the option to disable it.The app itself is very clean and has a lot of parameters for adjustment which is great to see in a camera of this price point. If you are home and your phone and camera are on the same wifi network, you can get a live stream of the footage in addition to that you can also scrub backwards through the app to see if you missed anything. All in all I will highly recommend it.Please note, some reviewers have said that the cameras transmit data to some server located in china. I haven't checked this to verify but even if it does it will be transmitting footage of an empty gallery and backyard. Oh well.

Great picture quality, newly updated app improves
I also have an S90 camera so I feel that I can point out the differences fairly well between this one and that model.First, the camera motion detection does work better on this one vs the S90, although could still be improved. However I am now actually able to detect people walking towards the camera some of the time so that's a plus. The new Soliom+ app has made things easier for sure, especially when it comes to pairing. Now you can hold out your phone in front of the camera with the QR code displaying and it will pair up. This worked first try for me. I'm not a fan of the list of events, the old app had a scrubber interface and I actually kind of preferred that.Picture quality is very clear, and the addition of the LED lights really help with night vision. No issues here. I also like how the default is now HD vs SD on the old app. This camera in particular has the ability to pan and tilt which is nice. I would have liked to have more fine grained control over the movement, hitting the arrows moves the camera more than I would like.Battery life is really good. I actually didn't do the recommended charging beforehand. I figured since it's summer that it would probably be OK. I also have this thing going off all the time because it has plants and shrubs in it's field of view, and even will all the events and the battery not being charged beforehand, I have never seen this thing go below max battery.A couple things don't make sense, like I made the default "on" time to be 60 seconds when an event is detected, but the timing of the recordings are all over the place and typically less than 60 seconds (sometimes more), not sure why.Overall it's a good camera for the price. If they can continue to make motion detection better than this camera has a real chance to be a great camera.

Decent starter camera. Great customer service!
Let me start with the same criticisms others have mentioned. Not true 4K and only decent video quality. Android app is very buggy, refuses to connect and crashes all the time. Also, the battery cover is not attached to the camera in any way, so I lost mine in the snow while changing batteries the first time I took the camera out to try it (however Eken responded to me in less than 24hrs and is sending a free replacement!). Overall though, it's a great little camera for the price. It would be nice if it had a feature to start recording when usb power is applied, because then it could be used as a simple dash camera too. But the include wifi remote makes it easy to start and stop recording, and it does auto power up when usb charger is plugged in. The included accessories are all pretty nice quality and most of them are useful, but some of them you'll never need or use. A lot of them could be reused with a nicer camera if you ever chose to upgrade. But if you just want something cheap to mess around with once in a while and don't want to spend hundreds of dollars, this is a good bang for the buck option. Taking off a star because I can't use the camera properly until I get the battery cover replaced and it's really kind of a silly design that it just pops off and can be lost.
