Keep Eyrizon baby
First off the baby monitor arrived well packaged. It didn't look cheap. After unpacking it was clear that this was an excellent quality product. The instructions are very easy to follow although the monitor settings & features are so easy to navigate that you could work out how to use it yourself. The picture quality is incredible. Crystal clear in both day and night mode. The camera itself is very cute with little ears to make my baby feel at ease. The camera features a speaker, several noise & movement detection settings and even a feeding reminder. It's also pretty smart than you can download an app so that you can connect to camera to your mobile phone device, however this seems slightly more complicated & requires time to set up and connect. The monitor shows the room temperature, battery power (which seems to last a fair amount of time) & humidity. You also have the option to purchase another camera and link them together. Finally, the camera has the ability to capture all footage and download onto an SD card so that you can look back on your baby's movements through the night.Overall I would definitely recommend this baby monitor if you wanted to go higher end. Obviously at almost £150 you would expect all these great features and camera quality.

Overall great value, insanely good build quality
Overall very solid camera for the price. I am upgrading from Amcrest’s previous cameras, which are the 3MP Q-CAM Models from 2017 which are POE.My primary use case is to use these cameras on my network using the Blue Iris software package as well as fine tuning settings through the camera’s built in web portal. So any camera replacing my Q-cams needs to fit both of these categories and work very well with BlueIris. From that perspective, the 4K camera is a near perfect replacement. In my week of using it, I did not note any difficulties with neither installation nor with configuration. Pretty much, it just works, which usually is something you expect from any good product. One addition over the q-cams I really like is the built in Mic, as I previously had no audio for my CCTV recordings.Physical installation was a snap, and I’m very impressed with the mounting flange that the camera uses. It’s a very thick, beefy metal and felt like it would hold up very well to vandalism or damage. The camera itself feels extremely solid, more solid than the older Q-cam models and also feels like it would hold up very well over time. Amcrest, in general, makes very solid cameras and I’ve been using my Q-cams for 3 years with little issues. The camera is a ball shape and rests inside the flange, which is clipped in with a metal tab on one side of the base, and is screwed on to the other side and depending on how tight the screw is, the camera’s position can be adjusted and locked. I liked how easy it was to adjust the camera, much easier than the bullet style Q-cams I previously had, which required a small allen wrench and several screws to adjust. One thing I noticed that brought up some security concerns Is depending on how the camera is positioned, the POE ethernet cable behind the camera can be exposed. This is concerning as someone might be able to stick a knife or cutting tool and cut the wire. (See picture #1)Overall though, it is a minor concern.Set up:I am an IT guy, but even still, this camera was a snap to install and set up. The included instructions on Amcrest’s site and also the supplied paperwork is ample to explain what needs to be done. If this camera is plugged into an ONVIF NVR, it will be plug and play. For Blue Iris, you have to follow a few additional steps, such as downloading the Amcrest IP Config tool and running it to find the camera’s IP address. Once you find the IP address, though. It is a snap to set up in Blue Iris, all you do is supply the IP address to a “New Camera Setup” and then click the “Discover” button and it is auto detected. Amcrest recommends logging into the camera’s configuration portal (Not Blue Iris) and changing the master password so as it is not the default one supplied. This is simple to do as well.Picture Quality:Overall the picture quality is very good, but I did expect more definition out of a 4K 8 Megapixel camera compared to me 2k 3 Megapixel Q-Cams, but this wasn’t the case. A Side by side comparison with my Q-cams showed that the Q-Cam actually had a higher definition when Zoomed in. This isn’t necessarily a fault on the Amcrest 4k Camera and is more due to the fact that it has a much wider field of View (2.8MM for the 4k Camera vs 3.8MM on the Q-Cams) so you get a wider field of view at the cost of lower overall definition. It is a compromise I can live with as the field of view into my driveway is DRAMATICALLY wider and I can see more, at the cost of reduced zoomed-in definition. Here is a sample of what I mean:(See picture #2)Amcrest Q-Cam 2k 4 Megapixel Zoomed into Lawn:Amcrest 4k 2.8MM Zoomed into Lawn:(See Picture #3)Amcrest Q-CAM 2k 3.8MM Q-cam Field of View, picture quality and resolution: (See Picture #4)Amcrest 4k 2.8MM Field of View, picture quality and resolution: (See Picture #5)Overall thoughts:I would recommend this camera overall, seems like a solid built little tank that’s got a decent build and picture quality. It is relatively easy to install physically and easy to set up and configure. The picture is good even with default settings and did not require much tweaking on my part. I am happy with the easy of use within BlueIris and the compatibility is good, with no frame dropouts, picture tears or color issues seen with other cameras. You wont go wrong using these for home CCTV purposes.

Easy installation, easy video sharing
Setting up is super easy with the QR code included with the set up instructions. There is a USB cord as power source & there is an adapter to plug the power cord into a regular electrical outlet. The power cord could be twice the length - placement of the camera outside is limited by the length of the power cord, for me. Sharing video is very easy, monitoring is easy, and I really like to yell at Alexa to show me what is viewed by the camera. House robots run my world, Alexa controls many things for me so this interface with the camera is convenient. I love the pan and tilt, too, bcuz I can see so much more than a fixed view camera. I also have some of those but they are not connected to Alexa. This device is not battery operated, there is nothing to recharge; however if the internet goes down then the camera does too…but that is the same for my fixed view cameras that are battery powered since they connect via WiFi just the same. I think I will use a standard electrical extension cord to get more length added to the power cord. Definitely this is a cool camera, especially for the price. This is new to me so I plan to research whether there is any cloud storage service possible, I’m not sure of that yet. That would be useful & maybe it exists, I am still exploring my fun and useful new purchase :)

Don’t pay 4X as much for a GoPro!
Awesome little camera for 1/4 of the price. With GoPro, you’re mostly paying for the name and all their advertising. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Does not come with what is suppose to be included
Got the camera in the mail & it looks very nice but the items that say they are included are not in the box. Do not buy if you expect it to come with everything

The best value for money action camera!
This camera is probably the best value for money action camera you can buy. It's cheaper than competition, and offers the same features and in my opinion - better quality.BUILD AND MATERIALSMake no mistake - this is a tough and premium product. It's waterproof out of the box without any additional cases, it's shock and drop proof and the materials used for the housing and the screen are of absolutely excellent quality.SCREENSThis camera offers two screens, so you can monitor what you're recording regardless of how it's mounted. It's a clever little feature, which is super useful for vlogging especially. The screen is bright and easy to see even on a sunny day and the resolution is very good. It's also very responsive to the touch - EVEN WHEN WET!!!BATTERY LIFE AND CHARGINGThe battery life is just mind blowing. I was able to get almost 3 hours on a single charge, recording in 4k. This is probably the best battery life I've seen in an actionb camera so far. It also charges very quickly (with the right charging brick) - I was able to top it up to about 70% in just 15 minutes. A full charge is about an hour.SETUP AND EASE OF USEVery easy to setup, paired instantly with my iPhone. The operation of the camera is very intuitive and you will probably work it out on your own without even looking in the manual.FOOTAGE QUALITYI shot in 4k 60 fps and in 2.7k in 120 fps - the video quality is excellent, the camera handles light very well and adjusts exposure quickly and accurately.STABILISATIONThe camera offers several modes of stabilisation, and they all work flawlessly. I used to stabilise my videos in an external software, but the footage out of this camera is amazing - no need for extra stabilisation in the post. Mind you though, that using stabilisation will slightly decrease the video resolution, down to 2.7k but given how well it works I'm okay with that.EXTRASAs if the price to quality ration wasn't good enough already, in addition you get a free suction cup mount with this camera which is fantastic, becuase that would be probably the first accessory you'd want to buy anyway :) This is really a value added proposition and honestly, it's super cool for DJI to include this in the bundle for free.SUMMARYThis is the best action camera for the price. Period. Buy it. You will love it!

Pretty great camera for our needs, beware of third
Originally bought this camera from a third party seller called Sunnyify without realizing it. The camera took around 3 weeks to arrive, and when it did, it was the chinese version of the camera. Chinese manual, packaging and voice from the camera itself. I thought, "whatever, so long as it works". Tried to connect it to the Wi-Fi, I get an unknown error and that I need to contact support. So I reach out to Blurams support directly. We go through some troubleshooting, but once they learn that this is the chinese model, they advise me to get a refund because it simply won't work properly in the US. They also advise me that they do not recognize Sunnyify as an authorized seller of their product. After a week long debacle between Sunnyify, Amazon and myself in trying to get a refund, they have certainly revealed themselves to be sleazy scammers (honestly that whole saga is worthy of it's own reddit post lol).Anyway, Blurams gave me a 50% of discount on a new camera for the trouble. The new proper camera comes within a few days and works perfectly. We need it to monitor our dog who has severe separation anxiety, and the two-way audio is nice to get her attention. I can also share my login credentials with my partner and she can also view the webcam at the same time as me while at work.
