I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to buy this mic to prepare to spend the extra $$ for a boom arm or some other form of shock mount. It is a very sensitive compressor mic and the factory stand picks up a lot of vibrations by simply moving your chair, mouse, typing, etc. Other than that great mic, I love it. Just do not use the headphone out Jack on the mic. Not sure if mine is faulty or not, but it is very, very crunchy and the volume control for headphones is too noisy, but I only plugged in there for testing purposes as I have a audio DAC for audio out already.

I was pretty amazed when it arrived. It came in a little black zipper case. I hooked it up...and tried it online with my brother. He was amazed too, especially at the sound quality, clarity and loudness. I would have given it a 5, but I couldn't figure out how to get the speaker in it to work. Mind you, I'm EXTREMELY computer literate. I even owned my own computer company. If I hooked up a headphone to the unit, the speaker in the headphone would pick it up, but when left to do the work of a regular speaker, it didn't. However, that's not why I purchased it, so it didn't matter. I purchased it for the mic part. In the mic arena...it blew every other mic I had ever tried, away. I am a happy camper!

I bought this because my and most laptops don't allow you to turn off built in mic, I hook this up, disable laptop mic and problem solved, I bought new and my item does have some issues, line in doesn't work or headphone jack, but you can always use the laptop headphones and mic in on this item , can plug guitar processors, auxs in etc into mic input on this, note youll need a stereo adaptor cable to get a stereo signal otherwise the signal is mono, I gave this 4 stars because I can now record on laptop and have internal mic turned off, It works fine this way for me and I don't intend to raplce it with a similar item

Purchased the set to use as a higher-quality audio output for raspberry pi computers. Excellent option for pi zero with an OTG host cable, as it's fairly small, and works wonderfully with any flavor of linux-based OS (also tested working out-of-the-box on MacOS Catalina 10.15.4 and Windows 10). Don't expect a miracle DAC/AMP for $5/each, that's just unreasonable given the extremely low cost of these modules. However, for the money - a solid buy in terms of value. No external volume adjust, gotta use the software-controlled options - and it is very likely to pick up a fair amount of noise from wifi running on the same machine (this is to be expected, more money invested == less noticeable interference - but pretty near impossible to completely eliminate from any USB-based solution. I2S would be a better bang-for-your buck, albeit at minimum 3x the cost). Solid build quality, can't speak to product longevity / durability, however. You'd have a REALLY hard time beating the performance at $5 a pop here - 85% of the population would call it "good enough", but if you want quality sound, spend the extra money on a real DAC/AMP (pick up a B-Stock Schiit Fulla 2, currently ~$60 for a minimum bar in terms of sound that an audiophile wouldn't call garbage).

Great sounding headset. Nice they run off just the headphone cable but drain your controller quicker. Work on my iPhone too.You have to be sure the mic doesn't rub on anything like your jacket or shoulder because it will pick it up

I bought this gaming headset for my nephews birthday and it’s the best $30 I spent on a headphone. the quality feels premium and the multi connection modes allowed him to use it on a different device and the mic is stretchable and noise canceling.

I looked long and hard before I bought this product, because I had a smaller product very similar that had a stereo headphone 3.5 mm jack and 3.5mm mono jack on the mic side. I bought this after reading everything I could find about it on the site. No where did it say the Mic input was Mono. I need one that is stereo....don't get me wrong - it works well if all you need on the Mic side is Mono. Just make sure before you purchase!

Great mic! I picked this up to upgrade from my in-line headphone mic ($120 pair of sony headphones) and it demolishes the sound quality of it.On top of this, I picked it up for $50 with 0 major issues.PROS:- Cheap- Nice sounding- Compact- No configuration required (can be done to improve sound though)CONS:- Stand only adjusts angle, not height- Only cardioid (not con for me since I only use it in that)- Distracting red light (covered with black hockey tape and it's great now)
