It's probably not sturdy enough or stable enough to take on the road, but this mic stand is a good value for home recording and/or practice. It has a plastic-covered cast base that I much prefer over the tripod style, though said base is only 9.65" wide- not large enough to prevent the stand from easily being knocked over. The shaft is in threaded sections that screw together, and if you assemble them too tightly, they are a bit difficult to disassemble. A tiny bit of oil should solve that problem. Also, the threaded areas are kind of thin and might break fairly easily with rough handling. Once assembled, the stand adjusts to a height of about five feet- be aware, however, that the shaft's top section gets a bit wobbly at maximum height. Installing a boom on this stand might not work out too well if you're using a fairly heavy mic.Included are two mic holders: one for standard mics and a clip-type holder for oddball sizes. Also we have two clips for holding cables in place and a 3/8" to 5/8" metal adaptor. The stand's metal parts are painted in industrial-type black.I would recommend this mic stand for home or perhaps light-duty stage use, and as such it's a good dollar value. If you need a roadworthy stand, you are advised to keep shopping.

I love being able to check in on baby anytime and from anywhere. Really helps when I'm missing her while I'm at work.The only negative I have found is when we play white noise or music, we can't hear her over the music.

Good mic. Picks up a lot of background noice if settings are not adjusted correctly.

It works perfect on a textured and smooth dash. Dont use the smooth stick on base it is totally useless. Just use the sticky suction base on your dash like a normal suction cup. It will work perfectly and have a great hold. Favorite base and bought even one for my daughter.

Had trouble finding a speaker I could hear over the waterfall in our pool. This one works great!

I love the flexibility of the neck or arm of the lamp. Ease of turning it on and off. I have failing eye sight and a dark room is my enemy. This lamp is much brighter than my old Ott light. Would buy again.

Cant use an app, only the remote. Wish I would’ve known that before I bought it.

I bought this to record my first podcast and it worked great. I wasn't looking for something spectacular but it picks up sound nice if you're in front of it, and even picks up voices (at lesser quality) from a few feet away. Would be perfect if you're mostly going to use it for close up use.
