High quality camera with many features
The V50X is a high quality product regardless of price point. The build quality is very good, the camera's software has many features and not buggy, and the included accessories are also high quality and useful. Prior to trying the V50X, my experience has been with HERO and Contour action cameras, which are 3x-4x the price of the Akaso unit. After using the V50X, I really question the high prices of the other cameras I've owned. The V50X is just as good for my needs.I've taken the camera under water in my pool, my 5 year old has taken it on her bike rides to school, and I've taken it mountain biking. It has worked flawlessly in all situations so far. After using it for a week, I liked it so much I bought a second unit.In short:Pros:- Good picture quality- Good build quality and features- Batteries last long enough, and there are 2 of them- Touchscreen menus are easy to navigate- Image stabilization works very wellCons:- No option for auto-start recording on power-on- No option for flipping the video upside down or mirrored- Built-in speaker is weak- Box comes with a clear plastic top that's good for marketing, but not so good for minimizing packaging waste- Batteries don't come with a storage case- No LED on the top or front of camera to indicate if it's recordingOverall, the fundamental qualities of the camera (picture quality, battery life, build quality) far outweigh any of the minor cons I listed. I'm very satisfied with this camera.

A shocking good sound from such a small package
Ok, so this is not going to match speaker 3-5x the size, so curb your expectations to reality, but for the size this is it puts out SURPRISINGLY good bass and treble, while on a table. It uses the table to disperse the sound better, and works well when it is on a flat surface, like I said surprisingly well. It gets about 2x louder than my phone speakers, MAYBE 3x... and has way more bass then them.If you are looking for a slimline speaker, or travel speaker, this is really hard to beat.

great value!
i am happy with my choice. strong bass and overall good music quality. maybe not as good as something 3x the price - i am fine with that. is a bit heavy - which to me speaks to the quality of build and components.

ATH-M40x vs ATH-M50x in a digital piano
------------------------------------------------------------------Quick and dirty summary------------------------------------------------------------------* Yes, the ATH-M40x is slightly better than the ATH-M50x in terms of overall neutrality* Yes, the ATH-M50x emphasizes lows just a hair over the ATH-M40x* Yes, the ATH-M50x are slightly more comfortable and practical than the ATH-M40x* If you can, test in person in a music store against a specific source (like a digital piano in my case) -and buy one ***from that store**** If you cannot test in person, go for the ATH-M40x if you are fundamentalist of sound neutrality reproduction* If you cannot test in person, go for the ATH-M50x if you want a slightly better overall sound, comfort and practicality.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Review based on comparison against built-in speakers in a Yamaha YDP 181----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I tried both these to headphones (ATH-M50x and ATH-M40x) in a Yamaha YDP 181.Both of them offered a very accurate reproduction of the sound coming from the built-in speaker system for the upper-mid, mid, and high tones. Really no difference. There was a difference in the lower tones. The ATH-M50x produced a very slightly, just slightly, deeper lows than what was coming from the built-in speakers. The ATH-M40x produced a very slightly, just slightly, higher lows. than what was coming from the built-in speakers.Although the difference was minimal in both cases, I would say that the ATH-M40x were just a bit more accurate in the low notes. We are talking about very minor differences in the differences between the speakers and the headphones. Nonetheless, the difference is there and the ATH-M40x win in neutrality of sound reproduction for the Yamaha YDP-181.There is a catch though: the ATH-M50x produced a slightly more even distribution of volume across the board and sounded louder in the low tones.Considering the slight advantage of overall neutrality of sound of the 40X against the better volume in the low notes of the 50x I went for the ATH-M50x.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Summary of sound comparison using Yamaha YDP 181---------------------------------------------------------------------------------* The ATH-M40x beat the ATH-M50x in terms of neutrality -although just slightly sometimes a big difference for some. This tested on a Yamaha YDP 181 compared to the built-in speaker system* The ATH-M50x beat the ATH-M40x in terms of volume accuracy -although just slightly sometimes a big difference for some. Again, tested on a Yamaha YDP 181.-------------------------------------------------------Sound accuracy in the Casio AP-460-------------------------------------------------------* I used the ATH-M50x on the Casio AP-460. The sound reproduction is very, very accurate when compared with the sound coming from the built-in speakers.* The ATH-M50x reveal more details of the sound than the built-in speakers on the Casio AP-460.-------------------------------------------------------------Other aspects-------------------------------------------------------------* The ATH-M50x are, in my case, clearly more comfortable than the ATH-M40x -but that is just me and your mileage may vary in this area.* The ATH-M50x are more flexible than the ATH-M40x, and this right away becomes a clear advantage. Then again, this may or may not be relevant for you.=====================Overall summary=====================* The ATH-M40x produces a slightly more accurate reproduction than the ATH-M50x when compared to the built-in speakers in a Yamaha YDP-181* The ATH-M50x produces a slightly more accurate overall reproduction than the ATH-M40x when compared to the built-in speakers in a Yamaha YDP-181 -mostly because of the more even distribution of volume reproduction.* The ATH-M50x is more comfortable than the ATH-M40x, although slightly.* I strongly suggest you test both headphones at a music store (and buy one of the from *that* store -don't be and a****e testing there and buying online) against a specific source (like a digital piano in my case) to decide for yourself which of the two give you the most overall accuracy for the specific task you are considering.* If money is an issue, get the ATH-M40x hands down.* If you cannot test in person and money is not an issue, get the ATH-M50x if you want slightly deeper lows and slightly better volume* If you cannot test in person and money is not an issue, get the ATH-M40x if you want slightly better accuracy and don't mind slightly less volume* If comfort and practicality are an issue for you, get the ATH-M50x, hands down.

Outstanding product
I did not think that for the competitive price that the quality of the monocular would be this good. 12x50 is clear and easy to focus with the handy power adjustment knob. Would recommend this product highly.
