If you are not blown away with these headphones -
After further review I've determined that my initial review of the headphones being thin and great only in the treble and upper mid range from my bedside computer did these headphones a disservice. I took the headphones to work and plugged them into my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and they came alive! The mid bass and low frequency bass were there, instantly I realized that my built in sound card was terrible! I listened to them for 8 hours and was amazed how well they reproduced the sound. I immediately went on amazon and purchased an internal sound card Xonar series and can't wait for it's arrival. Currently I'm sitting in the theater with them connected to my HTPC which has a ASUS Xonar ST and I'm floored! I accept foot in mouth. One thing people and myself included have to be mindful of are initial reviews without follow-up. Check difference source material and different devices. That will give you a better overview and will help guide your decision.

Above average for the price.
In general these are some solid headphones with decent lows and clear highs. They sound above average for this price point. The product that I received had a pretty terrible mic, however there are many solutions from ModMic's linup of microphones for clearer audio if thats what you wish to go for. A USB dac or adapter is recommended for better sound quality if your PC has bad audio drivers but in my case, both the direct plug in and the USB adapter sounded similar. Though I do prefer the sound coming from the adapter. Not a bad choice for under $50

You get what you pay for. Not bad for the price.
Some of the reviews spoke of these as if they were brilliant. They produce better that sound that my laptop. I think Amazon Basics which I used to have might be better, but I don't have them any more to compare. Quite OK for the price.

Not bad, but you do get what you pay for
Not bad, but you do get what you pay for. The NUM lock indicator led light has already failed, even though the NUM Lock is still enabled.

Not GREAT, but really GOOD headphones . . .
UPDATE:My original rating still stands, and the review below is largely accurate, but I have now learned some things about these headphones that you may want to know.1. The lack of stereo separation mentioned below is true IF YOU USE A CORD. Using a Bluetooth connection WITH noise cancellation ON, it's much better.2. The "muddy-ness" and "indistinct mids" and lack of "crystal clear highs" is due to the bass being OVERWHELMING. When using the cord this is MUCH WORSE. Using Bluetooth WITH NOISE CANCELLING TURNED ON, it's not AS bad, but still annoying a little.3. There is a VERY LOUD level of distortion on some of my music (which is my own original music). It's NOT there on ANY other speakers. I've figured out that this is because certain low and mid-frequencies are heavily emphasized by these headphones. One of my favorite songs is absolutely unlistenable. I now have to go back and remix it to pull those HORRIBLE frequencies down in the mix, which is going to ruin it for all OTHER speakers. :(4. I'm sticking to my four stars, although it's now closer to three. These are CHEAP headphones, and for most people's use, they're probably fine. (Most people seem to LOVE to feel the bass deep in their chest - well these will rattle your fillings, even without the "bass boost" feature.)___________________________________________________First of all, I ordered these yesterday after 5:00 pm. The Magicians at Amazon somehow caused these to materialize on our front doorstep before I woke up this morning. PRESTO!Pros:REALLY good sound. Great? No, not really. If you are an audiophile, these are NOT your headphones. But if you are like me . . . audiophile YES, but forgiving of the somewhat reduced quality based on the really nice price, then you'll see the sound as a positive. The highs are dull, the mids are indistinct and the bass is somewhat muddy. But they do PRODUCE the highs mids and bass, so that's not bad AT ALL in this price range. NOT BAD. I can definitely listen to these, and once I get used to the "reduced quality", then I'll be addicted to them, honestly. Some have said the construction is "plasticky". Well yes, it is. But I bought these because my Samsung Level headphones now have a BROKEN plastic headband. These headphones actually feel much STURDIER than my Levels. They don't sound as good, but they're not that far off, and they FEEL sturdy. Time will tell.Cons:Well - it's also the sound. Don't expect what you aren't paying for, and these are awesome. Seriously, if you don't need the highs to "sizzle" and you don't really care if the mids are indistinct and the bass is overwhelming-but-kind-of-muddy, then I don't think you'll find the sound bad AT ALL. It's weird, I know, but even for an audiophile like me, these AREN'T bad. Just not GREAT. (I've had the above mentioned Levels, as well as Bose headphones.) Both are DEFINITELY better than these. However, IMHO, not hundred$ of dollar$ worth better. The stereo separation of the more expensive headphones is what is really noticeable, but again - these aren't half bad.Fit - whether this is a pro or a con depends on your needs. Others have said it's like having your head in a vice, and that's not entirely unfair. They are TIGHT. For ME - that's a PLUS. I have a head the size of a watermelon. Seriously, my kids tell me I don't have a forehead - they say it's a "sixhead". But for me, these feel GREAT, because they WILL NOT FALL OFF. But if you can't handle Aftershokz, you will also not like these. They SQUEEZE. I wear reading glasses, and yes, these quickly make that somewhat irritating. Again, I HATE when my headphones fall off, and with these - THAT AIN'T HAPPNIN'.Summary:These are REALLY GOOD - not GREAT - headphones. The price is excellent and the sound's NOT BAD. The stereo separation isn't anything like what an audiophile would want, but for an audiophile like me (who makes his own music, btw, and has done so since the early 1980's), who can look PAST what they didn't pay for . . . these are REALLY GOOD.

Seems to work fine
Never used something like this. I wear hearing aids, and wanted to see how they work before I buy an expensive pair. They work fine with videos from my phone, but the call quality is about the same as my aids. My hearing is really bad. I so miss being able to hear well. If you're not hearing impaired, these headphones will work great.
