Works great dark room or place will improve a lot. Cellphone stream with hdmi adapters is not necessary the easiest way I recommend is Chromecast you get all the apps PLUS live tv apps you can play with airplay or any kind of free service.

Update [10/28/2022]Syng seems to have fixed the issue, now it always appears in the airplay device list--------------------------After the music streaming stops for some uncertain time interval, cell alpha disappears from the airplay device list. And it takes multiple tries to re-enable the airplay streaming feature.

I installed these on my exterior wall facing our outdoor deck. connected them to a Pioneer receiver with an Apple Airport Express acting as an Airplay destination. Good sound. and good price. Cant really complain.

Theses things are great. An affordable and not ridiculously priced way to get into the Apple AirPlay ecosystem! they sound great. They are attached to a wire and hang around my neck so I don’t lose them. I use head phones in bed, when I use my old wireless earbuds, in the morning I sometimes end up looking around in the bed and on the floor for them. With these I wake up in the morning, they are around my neck!!! With my old wireless earbuds I would have a pair of buds for my iPad and a pair for my iPhone so I wouldn’t have to disconnect Bluetooth from one device and pair it to another when am going back and forth on devices all the time!! (first world problems am I right??) with the AirPlay functions in these buds switching between devices is easy now I don’t have to carry around two pairs of earbuds. I can also link them to my Apple TV 4K to watch a movie. They don’t have touch controls like AirPods or my old wireless earbuds but I got used to it. When AirPods first came out I knew of the great features they had but I could never bring myself to pay $200 for headphones that look like electric toothbrush tips that I could easily lose Down a sewer grate!! At least if I break or lose these $70 earbuds I won’t feel as bad as losing or breaking $200 AirPods or $800 AirPods max! ( yikes!!) Hopefully they will come out with affordable versions with noise cancellation and surround sound in earbud and headphones version in the near future. They’re great!!!

Very, very happy with this little gem. I have been a Klipsch fan for many years but was let down with the Airplay speaker they came out with several years ago. I took a gamble with the One II and was amazed at the simplicity and sound from a $150 unit (the Airplay speaker was much more and was a steaming pile of !?x*). Very happy, but with it was the latest bluetooth spec. Jazz, Blues, and Classical are represented well - rock less so.

I like the picture quality and brightness. Airplay capability is a bonus!

Converts digital spdif or coaxial audio signal to analog. Useful for old receiver and amplifier. Used them in Apple express which has airplay 2 and optical out, I now have a decent airplay streamer! Also, Bluetooth 5.0 is a plus! Don’t think it has a usb DAC functionality. But hey, for $22.. I cannot complain.
