I have always required day time/ night time, white noise to sleep. 17 years of working nights as a nurse. I connected this unit to stereo speakers on my head board. The noise adjustment is a bit strange however it works. The sounds available is key. There is a "white noise" setting for nearly any noise in my neighborhood. Deeper base for cars, trucks and lawn mowers. Higher tones for people noise, pure white noise - like a fan - to cover house noise. I know that the price is a bit sleep but you can try it and return it if you don't like like. I'm sold with this unit. It has made sleep easier.

My 2 almost 3 yr old son absolutely loves his camera! We gave it to him the night of me and his dads wedding so he could take pictures of his own after having so many pictures taken of him. He loved it and carried it around the whole night!
