We are really happy with the video and sound quality as well as the video stabilization. It is not a “high end” action cam but for the price it offers a lot. This is a great choice for getting into video without a huge investment. It is also a great choice if you want to affordably have multiple of spare cams.

I needed a rugged utility action cam for my daily urban bike commute. Given the logistics of riding in traffic in all kinds of weather conditions, I needed a camera that would be durable and provide competitive video/image quality with the premium priced action cameras.With so many choices I had to aim for a quality product but at a reasonable price point; I was looking for a best case value package that would fit the riding routine. My best case value package criteria was prioritized as follows: price, stabilization, video quality, menu navigation, (need to activate while in motion) and accessories (these can add up).That criteria led me to the AKASO V50X action camera and it has turned out to be the right choice.At the packaged price, it’s easily five stars. The stabilization was at parity with comparative models; the video quality was remarkably crisp and there was no color saturation. Color tone is consistent with comparative models as well.Menu navigation was easy and quickly accessible; the controls well proportioned whether in the housing or out. The ability to access the controls without stopping was a key feature particularly under the duress of poor weather: basic camera functionality like starting and stopping were not a problem even with winter gloves.The package includes attachment accessories that are essential to bike commuters; handlebar and helmet attachments were quickly adapted with no issues. Everything I needed came with the package; no chasing annoying hardware to custom adapt; another value plus.This all came together quickly; the camera the manual; the accessories and functionality; it was up and running in no time. It’s a great camera and package for logging the steady stream of daily commuter biking logistics making it a part of the commute. Great camera; definitely the best case value package for action cams. This is my first time using an action camera. I didn't want to buy an expensive go pro since I'm a novice. So I tried AKASO. I'm so happy how easy to use and how good the quality is of the picture and video. The only thing I was concerned was you can't hear the sound when you playback the video, but when you transfer the video in the computer, there is actually a sound. This is why Im giving it a 4 star. It would be nice to hear sound when you play back the video. The waterproof casing doesn't affect the sound which is pretty cool.

I bought this action cam to capture video of my gigs as a bass player, specifically, clamped to the headstock and focused down the neck to capture my hand in action. It worked flawlessly (I also ordered a clamp for the bass headstock), and even considering the volume of the venue I was in, and playing bass guitar, the cam also captured decent sound. A manner of attachments to manipulate angles that the camera is mounted at are included, along with a remote control, and the Akaso app that allows you to connect the camera via bluetooth to your phone (in order to use it as a monitor, are some awesome added features that I look for ward to using soon. All in all, I'm extremely impressed and very happy with my purchase. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the GoPro line, and don't want to maximize bang for your buck, the Akaso line of action cams is the place to start.

as the title says, i'm quite impressed with what you get for this price, came with a lot of little adapters and attachments, the camera quality is amazing for not being 400+ dollars, 100% recommend for starting out with action cams, it's also built really well, i'm not afraid to be rough with it

I purchased this action camera for my 10 year old, very active grandson! We are thrilled with it! He is able to use it skateboarding, biking, and even in the pool for his underwater antics! Couldn’t be happier! Great purchase at a great price. Good quality and good battery life, too.

If you want the action camera as a hobby, Akaso v50pro is the perfect starting point. The quality of photos and videos were top notch along with many different mounts. The timelapse and 4K30 looked great!! The only downside was a much shorter battery life below freezing temperature.

I regularly commute to work via bicycle and I needed an action camera that serves both dashcam on weekdays, and adventure camera on wekeends.I tested this product a couple of weeks now since I bought it last month and was surprised on its image stabilization that it works very well on rough surfaces. When playing in the Phone, at daytime, video quality is excellent even at 1080P 60FPS (see pictures), but at night time, its quality is good and needs ample of light to stay bright. Video quality is also excellent when playing at the desktop especially when caught daytime. Overall, its a high quality action camera that is suitable for rides and adventures that we should't underestimate its performance.On its software application, however, its interface is good and functional. The Issue that I observed when recording the video was the date/time written that seems resetted everytime I switch batteries. This caused confusion when looking for the video.
