I bought this camera to replace an older SJ model. I am planning on using in on a future trip where I will go snorkeling, but I wanted to make sure I had the time to test it and get familiar with it beforehand. These are my first thoughts after a few days:Camera works well out of the box. I am using a 128GB card without problems.Picture quality: Poor but expected. I guess it is ok for this kind of camera. If you come from the DSLR world it is far behind. Similar to what you can get with a phone.Video quality: Quite good, the main purpose of this camera, right?Waterproof case: So far it has worked well. I have only tested it in the bathtub. The real test will come when used in the ocean.Touch screen: intuitive and easy to use.Button use with camera case: more difficult than the touch screen. Takes a while to get used to them. For me the ‘record’ button should be the outer one, not the inner one.Accessories: I have not tried them other than the case.Modes: I feel night mode and dive mode are kind of useless. Lots of lag and bad quality. I assume this is because of the higher ISO and something to be kind of expected from a camera with a small sensor. I think I am going to stick to the regular mode.Wind reduction with waterproof case: almost like turning the mic off.There is an option to select the maximum length of the video. Although I have selected ‘unlimited’ the camera stops recording after 9 minutes approximately. It automatically starts recording another video after that. With this technique (and screen off after 3 minutes) I was able to record 59 min of video (4k 30 fps) with one battery.I will update my observations in the future.

bought this for a quick trip I was taking and am very impressed by the quality of the videos and photos.Only complaint is that it feels a bit cheap - it is very light and hollow feeling, and the battery cover feels flimsy.Outside of that, the actual function of this camera performs very well.

I am hiking with my friend every weekend recently, and my friend has a GoPro camera, he took videos in the hiking, it is pretty fun. So I thought to buy one too and I searched the amazon and I found this item, it is cheaper. and I also checked some videos to compare the GoPro and AkASO, the result seems like AKASO even better. So I decided to give a try. The delivery is fast. And I tested it, the quality is very good. and plus it is chapter. I am glad I made a good decision.

This is the camera I chose for my pool after seeing reviews on YouTube. My requirements were it needed to have a clear picture and be able to detect people in the pool. It was easy to setup. I connected it initially to the Amcrest mobile app. I wasn't a big fan of that app so I am using BlueIris as the software and I was able to setup AI motion detection based on the information from The Hook Up's YouTube channel. This camera can detect all sorts of moving objects using that method. It is easy to setup and super fast. I set it up to talk with my home assistant and it notifies me every single time someone is in the pool or in the cameras view. The sound isn't great but that may be my fault since I'm using BlueIris. I haven't done much to modify the sound in it so far. I will probably need to make some tweaks to that. Anyways, my biggest con other than the sound is really the housing was a slight pain to install it. It might be standard for these type of cameras since this is the very first turret style camera I have used. You have to have it in there just right in order for you to be able to screw in the screw. It is a torx screw and I am very happy they used that though. Overall though this is perfect for my needs. It's screwed to the fascia of my house and is fairly secure. It has an amazing video. There are three separate streams coming from the camera a full 4k stream which you can adjust if needed, and two 480p streams. Very useful for the AI and very useful for 24/7 recording. The other thing I like about the camera is it can be fairly well hidden if you aren't looking for it. The camera is all white and so is the fascia on the house. The IR works really well. It lights up the pool enough to see swimming in the water. I am even tempted to purchase some more of these as my go to camera for now. My house was never wired for Ethernet and I am doing this myself so it may be a while before I add another, but I would absolutely recommend this if you need a 4K camera, with sound for this price.

I am using this c-stand to film sewing tutorials and boight it provide a stable set-up for overhead filming. It is well made and extremely sturdy, but not too heavy! It's well worth the money knowing my camera is rigged to a stable stand.

Like others, I own other competitor styles and this one just fits my needs much better. I really wanted one that was easy to hold with my Sony A7III attached. This fits the bill perfectly. Also, I am never concerned that the camera is at risk of falling off.

I wanted to get a Go Pro because my kids are swimmers. I am always fascinated when people take underwater pictures. Looks so cool. During my research, I found this camera instead. Based on the reviews I read and also the price point, I gave it a try. What a deal! The camera is tiny but mighty! I'm very impressed. So many uses IN the water and OUT of the water and the pictures look amazing! Thank you!

I got this when I began work-from-home life. I needed to upgrade the quality of my camera for many Zoom meetings. This thing is SO easy to set up, you literally plug into USB port, select the cam on your Zoom meeting when you log in, and off you go. I love the built in lights, and my camera quality is noticeably high resolution. I am so impressed, I talked my mom into one too!
