Great background noise
I'm a doctor and use these in all my rooms. Patients like the background sound and helps keep our conversations private, even with my louder patients. Very useful

Authentic effective background noise
We live out in the country and must admit that the cricket/meadow sounds this thing puts out are really authentic sounding.Has many other sounds including brook, ocean, rain, white noise, waterfall, meadow (crickets) , city (traffic noise), fire (popping wood), Meditation( weird zen music), and train. Don't know why anyone would want a train/trolly sound though - while enticing in real life the train sounds from this machine aren't that useful/relaxing to us bit to each his/her own...This is a nice unit with a high quality fit, finish and design. Top facing speaker is a nice feature.

Lots of background noise
No matter what I do, the LGHUB app you're supposed to use it with doesn't detect the device. It also picks up a LOT of background noise if you don't have really good noise suppression. Can't have a fan going under my desk without having it overtake my audio.It's not a bad little mic, just wish I could change modes on it without paying an extra $50 for the version that can change modes.If you're looking to get this, just splurge for the standard blue snowball instead of the ice.

No background noise!
Comfortable enough to wear all day in the tractor. I can hear who I’m talking to and most importantly, they can here me just as clearly as if I was sitting at a desk!

Pleasantly surprised
My kids always prefer to sleep with a fan on for background noise. This sound machine is very impressive with all the choices of background noise.

Background noise
Great mic, I sound crystal clear, but this will also pick up a moth flying inside an owls mouth underneath 20 feet of granite even with the gain low.

No Background noise!
The biggest struggle I have had trying to find a baby monitor is that they always have some kind of background noise. Like many other moms I know, I prefer to be able to hear my baby breathe over the monitor. I couldn't say how the battery life is, I keep it plugged in.
