This is my first gimbal. It took a minute for me to figure out how to set it up. Charge the gimbal. Once charged, put your phone in. Power up the unit, it automatically stabilized itself and you’re good to go!

Great gimbal to have for your phone. It works quite well with iPhone. Every thing is great about this gimbal. The app works great and have various options to shoot a video. If you are new into cinematography then I would totally recommend this before buying the expensive one. Just the heads up, it is not that light.

The instructions that came with the gimbal were easy to follow. The video tutorials were a huge help in getting started, figuring out how to use the gimbal properly, and how to utilize all aspects of the app. I haven't done much with the app, but so far it seems good. I have a Samsung S8 and it was kind of difficult to balance my phone, but this gimbal made recording videos so much better and stable.

 VID 1: Really stable even with my shaking until I fell in the poolI wanted to use my phone as my primary video camera after getting the iPhone 11 Pro Max, which has a very solid camera. I am a bit spoiled since I have a GoPro Hero 7 and DJI Osmo, so I am quite accustomed to stable video footage. This gimbal does an excellent job of stabilizing my iPhone video camera (better than the digital stabilization in my action cameras) and I am quite happy with my purchase.To start, there are not a lot of reasonably-priced gimbals that can support the weight of my iPhone 11 Pro Max, but this gimbal does the job at a more than fair price point. I especially like the control knob, which I can adjust the tilt of my phone (from left, right, up, down) which is pretty nice in getting very smooth footage. The built-in tripod is also a great feature for people interested in using the gimbal to do hands-off self-recording. I don't have to switch between a gimbal and tripod if I want to take a remote picture/video.Although the upsides are definitely clear, there are some issues to be aware of. First, the gimbal syncs with a Hohem mobile app, which doesn't have the best user interface. They are pumping out firmware updates pretty frequently though, so I'm sure it will be iterated upon. The UI is definitely usable, but not exactly intuitive. Second, I'm not sure if this is an inherent feature to all handheld gimbals, but it needs to connect to your phone's bluetooth to work. I think it uses this to communicate gyro-axis information to the gimbal. I wasn't aware of this.

I like how there are panning modes, only minor problem would be when setting my phone on vertical setting, you can see the gimbal when shooting down at an angle but overall my first gimbal and I can't wait to practice and creative stable smooth videos!

I bought this gimbal , awesome product works great but for me it is very heavy to hold for any period of time!!! I have small hands and small wrist, after 10 minutes using this gimbal, my wrist and hands were in pain. Again this is an awesome product, it works well with the stability of the phone, easy to connect to your Bluetooth.

The Hohem Isteady Mobile Plus gimbal works great. Build quality is good for the price. Works well to stabilize cell phone video. This is my first motorized gimbal so can’t compare it to other products but works well for my needs. If this is also your first gimbal you will need to spend some time with it to learn how it works in order to get the best performance from it. Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to improve the quality and stability of your cell phone videos.
