This is the camera you think banks and NASA would use. Litterly the best camera I'veever bought. I've bought a lots of cameras over the last 15 years. The only con is not solar or battery. Needs power. Other then that its flawless so far. If I could afford it and run power I'd but 10 more today to replace my other older ones that have zero options.

just got camera and haven't used it in any meetings yet but picture and feature i could see in setting up on zoom all seemed great and everything appears to work like it should. picture quality is good and light adjustments worked well. auto focus worked also. i chose this camera because it was the most ordered and amazons #1 choice. i figure 11000 people cant be wrong.

Overall, this is an awesome package at a great price.Great quality and features for a value action camera. Includes a lot of accessories and an easy to follow manual to put them together for your own actionable applications.I initially had a problem with image quality while shooting with the waterproof case. Turns out there is a second adhesive layer on the case's viewfinder that I did not remove when I first started shooting. If you find that your shots have wavy distortions or that the viewfinder gets surface scratches very easily (e.g., with your fingernail), it is very likely that the adhesive protector still needs to be removed. When you look through the viewfinder, it should appear clear without distortions.However, if you need a replacement waterproof case, it appears there is one available on Amazon with the exact same form factor--"AKASO Waterproof Case for AKASO Brave 4 Action Camera".A couple of features that aren't so great here: The English translation on the camera interface isn't the greatest, but it could be worse. Anyone with a basic command of the English language should be able to figure it out. The date on the camera resets every time the battery is swapped out. For a $50 camera package, these features definitely aren't deal breakers for me, but just thought I would share with any scrutinizing shoppers out there.I'm super happy with my purchase here, and would recommend this to anyone looking for an action camera.

We have a camera upstairs in the babies bedroom and one by our bed over the basinet. We can carry the rechargable monitor all the way to the back yard and it still gets a signal. The camera quality is great. I think the mounts are a bit bulky but they have the quick release tabs so they don't remove the paint. Overall this is the best monitor we have tried out of 4 different ones.

** UPDATE **So here we are, 3 years later. I purchased 3 of these cameras. Of those three, 2 had been completely replaced within the first year (so I have 1 three year old camera and 2 two years old).After 3(2) years of indoor and outdoor use, all three cameras have died in one way or another.Camera 1, Indoor Only: After about 2 years of indoor use, being active only when I'm asleep or not at home... it stopped any and all recording. I could still view a live feed, and would get notifications of movement, but the recording feature had stopped working. 3 months later the live feed stopped registering all together.Camera 2, Outdoor Only (Front Door): This was one of the two that had been replaced. About 6 months ago the motion sensor stopped working, and about 3 months ago the battery stopped holding a charge.Camera 3: Outdoor Only (Back Door): This was the other camera that had been replaced. The reason this was replaced was that the picture went cloudy. They sent me a replacement, and after 6 months the same thing happened. I had the weather protection case installed on it as well. About 6 months ago, the motion sensor on this camera stopped working as well.Overall, if you're looking for a cheap quick security fix, this camera will do wonders (if it works out of the box). If you're looking for something more long term, find something better.** End Update **General Review: So shy of a few minor annoyances, this camera is absolutely fantastic. The app is 98% user friendly, and the entire set up process is simple and quick. Installing the cameras outside takes all of 10 minutes if you have the proper tools (like me forgetting my step ladder). I am completely satisfied with this camera. I initially bought two, I will be buying two more down the line.Because I like to be different, let's start with the Cons first. Remember, these are mostly minor annoyances.- When accessing the video feed history, if you are not spot on accurate with the slider, it can reset back to midnight. It takes some getting used to.- There is a setting to turn off the light indicators, this however does not apply when it kicks into night vision mode.- The estimated battery life is partly accurate. If you turn on HD and have the camera in an active spot (outside my front door) it will drain the batter much faster. Currently on day 5 and am at 35%.Pros- EASY, and I cannot say this enough, EASY mobile app and camera set up. For both cameras it took me maybe 5 minutes. That included reading the booklet twice.- Picture quality in both normal and night vision is spot on in both SD and HD. Though I prefer HD for everything.- The interior and exterior mounting is simple as well. The ball mount for interior mounting is super easy and very solid. Simply put the adhesive on the mount, stick it to your wall (do make sure to clean the wall first), let it sit for a day, the presto! The camera attaches to the mount via magnet, and it's a very stable magnet. Exterior wise, it requires a few tools, but getting the mount in place and adjusting the pivot point take moments.For someone new to the security camera world, I was initially looking for some big flashy system. These however, I couldn't be happier.

My built-in PC camera did a great job projecting my chin. I should have bought this camera a year ago. Nice quality ( although almost anything would have been an improvement over what I was using). My granddaughter is mainly using it for school, and I haven’t noticed any auto focusing problems, even when she is squirmy. Very satisfied!

 I hoped to use this camera for action shots in a live music situation, but unfortunately there is just too much noise in the footage unless you have perfect lighting conditions. I don't fault this camera for that as it seems nearly impossible to get good low light footage from any inexpensive action camera. In great lighting the images are more crisp and defined. Video that I uploaded was shot at 4k/30 with EIS on, but im not sure it looks like 4k to me, compared to a larger camera or camcorder, and the image stabilization was OK, but you'll still probably need to fix some in post production to keep from getting seasick.Ultimately, I believe this to be better than most of the cheap action cameras, decent mic, and a price that won't make you too upset when it eventually breaks and needs replaced. Comes with a nice assortment of mounts and accessories. The app seems alright, a bit laggy in the live visual feed, and the camera did have an issue with sparatic freezing up and needing the battery removed to reset... which then required me to go back into the menu and reset my settings. Going to continue my search for a camera that will work for my little ones, and I will likely stay in the AKASO family.I can honestly say the customer service at Akaso is first rate. If you have any issues with their products they work hard to resolve them in the way that you would want a company to.

I love it! It is easy to install, just plug and go. I had a camera before this that I wanted to replace because of its bad quality and its connection problems. When I saw this on sale, I knew I had to nab it. Already I can see that this camera is going to be great, from the video quality and to mic quality. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.
