If you’re a content creator and just starting out and don’t want to pay $200 for a rode mic this is perfect! the quality of sound is great

I’ve bought this mic as I felt like sound quality recorded with my lavalier Rode was a bit off. Yeti Blue turned put to be able of producing much better voice recording without any pop filter.

I have the shure Sm7b, shure mv7, rode pro caster, and the mxl 990. This is my go to mic now over all those industry’s standards. It’s just good and easy to use.

I've been using the ever popular Rode mic arm for a couple years now. I decided I wanted to start a podcast but I wanted the podcast to have video as well. The Rode mic arm looks...well cheap. Like the $20 mic arms all over Amazon. While the Rode arm worked really well I wanted something that would look nicer...cleaner on camera. The mic arm from Blu caught my eye. However it wasn't cheap at $99. That's when I came across this one for only $69 (plus an additional 10% off coupon at the time). It looked idential to the Blue so I took a chance!I'm happy to report the mic arm works fantastic. There are tension knobs at the 2 sockets so you can lock the arm down tight into whatever position you want. Under the base is another screw where you can adjust the overall tension of the arm so it can float around but stay still in whatever position you leave it in. All mics are different in weight so taking the time to dial in that tension screw is vital to the performance of this arm.The arm handled my rather heavy dynamic mic without a problem at all. That mic weighs about the same as the Rode Pod mic and there was still plenty of tension left to adjust for much heavier mics.Lastly this mic arm looks fantastic. Perfect if you want a mic boom arm that will look great on video. Having never heard of this brand I was a little hesitant especially in the department of longevity. I will be putting this boom arm though it's paces and if it end up having issues as time goes by or outright fails I will return to the review and report what happens.A great mic boom arm at a fantastic price!

I'm a big Shure and Rode fan. I own several mics from these companies. When I came time for a good Zoom / WebEx mic, I was looking closely at the Shure SM7B, but it requires a Cloudlifter and it's already an expensive mic to begin with. I think the Shure SM7B sounds *slightly* better overall, but the Rode PodMic is so close and at 1/3rd the cost, it's a real Shure SM7B killer. Very happy with the quality. Pro Tip: Get the foam windscreen. It's essential to avoid plosives.

 Now using Rode single wireless mic & need a dual wireless mic for my 2 speakers so bought it through my videography trainer, Adrian Lee's recommendation. Tested, so far so good!

I got this mic to replace my in-computer mic for youtube videos (voiceovers on tutorials). It is AMAZING! Plug and go, no drivers or anything. Such a relief after purchasing 295719 different adapters trying to get my rode mic to work with my mac. I'm loving this simple solution and you can't beat the price!
