It does pair with Bluetooth adapters.
I purchased these headphones to replace a worn out Beats Studio set that I’ve connected via a Bluetooth adapter to the tv. After numerous failed attempts to pair it with the adapter I called customer service and after providing way too much personal information I was told it is not compatible with much outside of phones and computers. Not true. I needed to remove the previous headphones from the memory and then was able to pair it. Almost returned it prior to trying.

Works great.
This adapter works well with my larger phone without squishing it like some other adapters that rely only on a spring mechanism.
