Needs adapter to work with Apple Dongle.
The Rodeo VideoMicro was well packaged and seemed well made. It did not work with my D3400, IPhone X, or IPad Pro. After returning it, I discovered it was an issue with each device and not the Rode. Not sure how it sounded as it did not work. Gave 4 stars based on other reviews. Could not give 5 as it did not work for my devices due to not having necessary adapters.If you want to use this for your IPhone, it seems like it should work if you use a TRRS to TRS adapter. Good luck.

3rd pc used for resin prints and capture, only spare port on monitor was vga, works like a charm

When Connecting Old Technology to New
When you have a brand new computer and you have to connect it to your legacy monitor because they’re too cheap to buy you a new one! To be fair the old monitor worked just fine and you don’t exactly need state of the art to view databases, so I guess recycling/reusing is a good thing. Less E waste.
