It's ok, not the best, but not the worst. Remote is poorly designed, only indents for the controls of volume.

Great value and sound.
Be sure to read instructions and increase bass. Once this is set the sound is awesome.

Good, clear sound that can use more bass
Sound quality from this soundbar is good. It’s easy to set up and fills a room well. For the price point I wish it has more bass on its own (I don’t want I have to buy the bass module). The design is nice and simple and more compact than past sound bars I’ve owned.The only trouble I’ve had with this soundbar is getting my TV to automatically turn it on and be controlled by the TV (Roku) remote. My solution has been to turn on my TV and quickly turn on the soundbar, and after that my TV remote will control the volume. It’s a little annoying but nothing major.
