Works Great!! A little tricky to setup with the Al
I bought this back in December 2021 and just now had the time to install it. Really easy to install! The instructions were very clear. The tricky part is the setup with the Alexa app. The Alexa app will recognize two devices for this switch. One is Fan and the other is Ceiling Fan Dimmer Switch. Unfortunately, Alexa treats the second device as Fan also so you end up with two fan controls in the Alexa app. I simply renamed the second device to Den Light, only then did Alexa show light controls. The switch works great. I created a routine in the Alexa app to turn the light on one minute after motion is detected in my backyard. That gives the appearance that whatever triggered the motion sensor woke me up that I turned my lights on. :)I would recommend this product!

Awesome Controller
This is a fantastic controller that works really well for dimming and fan speed control. Please note that Ken Lasko's review from Amazon Canada is misleading. His claim that LED dimmers "essentially dump unused voltage to the neutral wire" is nonsense and is spreading terrible misinformation. LED dimmers turn the bulbs on and off at high speed. At 20% dimming, for example, the bulb will be ON for 20% of the time, and OFF for 80% of the time. The rapid switching of ANY electrical circuit can introduce tiny voltage spikes on the house wiring. Dimmer-to-dimmer interaction can result if several heavy loads are being dimmed on the same pair of live/neutral wires. However, there are several ways to fix this issue, and it requires some expertise, not assumptions. It is not the fault of the Treatlife dimmer. I have multiple Treatlife dimmers and controllers on the same circuit, and I have NO such problems. Ken's wiring may simply be underrated for the loads (or the wire length) on that particular circuit, and it can occur with ANY brand of dimmer. Lutron's PDF document, entitled "Application Note #17, Common Neutral Interaction" discusses the cause and the solutions.

Depends where you install
Alexa took a while to detect the lights, kept detecting as fans and had to delete and rescan. But after that works fine. I installed two in different locations and they were tight to fit in a single box, it took some squeezing to get them screwed in and pretty flush. All the other switches I have installed have been easy and plenty of room because the boxes are twice as big.. 2 gang or only control lights single pole. If the switches were just an inch or half an inch smaller they would fit perfectly in a single pole box.

Great value! Takes sone tweaking, but pretty great
I had to tweak the settings (which are provided on the mobile app). Working the light and fan or adjusting the settings in bed are simply the best! I have limited mobility and this was pretty easy to install (well, someone else did that part but I am confident I could have). There is a humming to the fan if you don't get the settings just right, so that is why only 4 stars. I would love a product that could auto-adjust to the best frequency, but you can't beat the VALUE.

Love this product!
I have setup our home to be largely automated in lighting and plugs, among other devices. I can tell Alexa to turn on my living room and it will turn on select lights and lamps. In setting up the automation over the years, I have tried various manufacturers and models of smart devices and controllers.A friend of mine who is much smarter than I am in all things technical recently turned me on to a new product for light switches from a company called Treatlife. Prior to trying these devices, I spent roughly $50/switch for Lutron brand switches from Home Depot and had to purchase a separate Lutron Bridge to make them work with Alexa. The Treatlife switches are less expensive and do not require any kind of Bridge to work. It’s a stand-alone smart switch that connects directly to your WiFi. Additionally, Lutron doesn’t make a smart switch that can control the speeds on a ceiling fan and the lighting controls in one switch, but Treatlife does. They also make smart 3-way switches to replace standard hallway switches where you have a switch at each end of the hallway (I’m about to hook up my first set of these in my hallway at home). The Treatlife switches are so easy to hook up that hiring an electrician is not necessary. They can also be controlled from an app on your phone. I wholly endorse this brand and hope that if you’re automating your home with any kind of smart controller like Amazon or Google you will give them a try.
