We purchased 2 of these cameras, one for each of our kids. They are sturdy and easy to use for children. We recently purchased some swimming goggles that have a mount for an action camera, I can’t wait for the kids to try these out underwater. For the price, everything that’s included is great. 2 batteries and a charger to recharge both at the same time, plus a ton of mounts and a remote control to take photos and videos from a distance.

Had an issue with shipping. Somehow it shipped the totally wrong item in the package but I think that was an Amazon issue and not Akaso and issue was fixed quickly!Camera is great. For the price, you cannot beat the qualify and features. With how expensive GoPros are, this camera does everything a gopro will at a fraction of the cost! Love the wireless mic option, video quality is top notch and wide viewing angle is perfect for what I am using it for. Will most likely be purchasing more in the future!!!

Great value and good 1080 video. Lag time for motion activation a bit long, but it gets the job done and for $55 you can afford to by enough to monitor front a back of property.

I received the VTech Kidizoom Action Cam in exchange for my honest review. I have a 7 year old daughter and she was so excited about getting this camera. I have a GoPro and she watches all the fun ways I use it, so having her own was a huge plus. She has been using it everywhere we go. We attached it to her scooter to get some action shots and took it to our Girl Scout S.T.E.M. Expo. She took pictures of all he favorite things and captured video while she was riding a Hoover craft. This is an awesome gift for kids that want their own camera to capture life. You can't beat the price either. It is seriously kid tough and the waterproof case adds a new level of fun to the device.It comes with multiple mounts giving you options for how you can record. We love the bike mount because it's so versatile.When you first get the camera, make sure you change the settings to the highest quality. It was defaulted to the lower settings.It holds a good charge (better than my GoPro) which is important when you can't remove the battery.You can shoot photos, videos, and even stop motion videos.I highly recommend this camera for kids. It's small and easy to use. There are also fun frames and effects that you can add to your videos and pictures. Kids love creating and this allows them to do it all on their own.

I got married this summer and since it was a very small ceremony (Covid) I wanted a second video camera angle so we could send our parents video of the event. I also like the idea of having this for snorkeling, boating, and outdoor use. I've never had a GoPro, Akaso, or similar outdoor mini action cam, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised.The Akaso V50X was remarkably easy to use and came with lots of mounting accessories. I particularly like the rugged waterproof case, which is well-designed. Didn't take me long to get the hang of it. Couple short test videos to understand the settings, frame rate, image stabilization, etc. and I was good to go.Overall I was very happy with the image quality. Only mistake I made was not getting the remote mic for my application - I didn't see that Akaso had that accessory available at the time that I bought it. Audio is fine if you're operating camera close to you, but mine was set up 25' from the outside ceremony, so I wasn't expecting much, if any, audio performance at that distance. i'll be purchasing the accessory mic and report back.Overall I'm very happy with it and would purchase again. I don't think you'll find much better at this price and it's super easy to use. My brother got one to use on his boat and he loves it.

Very smooth video mounted on mountain bike off road.

This camera delivers! I've been wanting to add a camera to my bike for some time now. I'd like to have some footage of my rides and if need be use the video in the event of an accident or altercation with a driver. I've been looking at action cameras and reading review upon review. I finally landed on this Akaso and I'm glad I did. I picked it up for around $85 (it was some sort of flash sale) and needless to say it was a great buy. The videos are crisp and image stabilization works wonderfully. Very pleased so far!!
