I had bought the new iPhone and decided to switch to the max. This was my first time and it was hard to get used to it because of how wide the phone is so I dropped it a lot. I then found this ring and decided to give it a try. Overall, I really like it, it definitely has prevented me from dropping it and it sticks to the phone very well, never had it come off. My only problem is I don’t really have nails so most of the time it’s actually a little hard to get the ring up so I can hold it.

(Android phones)3) I consider myself tech-savvyI was a bit nervous ordering this product given the number of poor reviews. I first learned of the brand from my Ring app. I was looking for a smart deadbolt and decided to open up the web app to see which locks were listed within the app so I could narrow my search to one of those.1. I wanted my same physical key because there are a few other entrances with the same key. (I didn't want to buy new locks for every door).2. I wanted a keypad3. I wanted long battery life4. I wanted changing batteries to not be a pain.I was very intrigued by this deadbolt because it would literally use my existing hardware. I read a lot of reviews. I watched YouTube videos. Finally I took the plunge and ordered.Setup was just like what I saw on YouTube. Yes, it worked fine with my Android phone app. It connected to the keypad. It connected to the Ring app. I can lock/unlock the door from the Ring app dashboard.The battery for this is a CR2 battery within the shaft of the deadbolt. To change it out, you unscrew a cap on the bolt. Brilliant! The keypad uses two AAA batteries.I did have to buy the shorter strike plate. That shorter strike plate was about 1mm wider than my previous plate so I had to use a chisel to widen the opening. That's the only thing that was difficult for installing.Update--- (4/5 star)I've had the lock for 1.5 months. The lock has gone "offline" in the Ring app a few times for unexplainable reasons so I'm docking a star. To get the lock back "online", take the battery out and put it back in. The keypad will still work when it is "offline" to lock/ unlock the door, but the Ring app will not be able to see the lock status or operate the lock.11/2022 - (5/5 Stars) - they released a firmware update that improved stability. I haven't had it go "offline" in a few months now!
