Carried this Awesome Tripod across the Swiss Alps last August
Though I made the mistake of carrying too much gear on my 180km Haute Route hike from Mt. Blanc to the Matterhorn, I don't regret for a moment carrying this full-size tripod because it was so light easy to use. It was simple to stow on the outside of my pack, could pop off in a second and then set up in seconds and get a great shot on the go. It's sturdy and survived bashing into a few boulders. Everything is really adjustable and locks down solidly. Very happy with the purchase and can highly recommend. There's really nothing I don't like about it.

Fantastic in general, not just a budget.
I'm a huge Presonus fan in general. I use a lot of their products and was an avid pusher of their stuff when I worked professionally in audio/music retail on an international scale. None of their equipment has failed me yet. Literally not a single malfunction in years of service from various products. These were my first and final choice when putting together a new semi-portable micro-studio for quick projects and tight budgets from local indie musicians. To get the most out of them for music projects, run them from a good interface rather than onboard sound and take advantage of the dual controls available in that setup. Use heavy 1/4" speaker cables. Avoid using adapters or otherwise connecting wires in any less than ideal way.Use them up CLOSE. That's what they are really meant for. These are great for mixing and playback with a good neutral sound. If you want them for gaming or videos, they may not be exactly what you want but using the rear controls may help you fine tune a bit more to your liking. My only complaint with these is the volume knob. It's small for my fingers and not ideal for tiny adjustments, especially in low light. Otherwise, I'd buy these again and again and recommend to anyone in the market for similar items. The price is just really hard to beat for the quality.

Great sound for the price
Purchased these for my computer. Probably overkill for gaming and YouTube, etc. but they look and sound great.

Budget Studio
This is the smaller Eris and it makes no difference. The sound quality is way better than the price that you pay. There are plenty adjustments to the sound and it puts out exactly what you need whether you are tracking in the studio or playing back music. You’ve got RCA and 1/4 TRS hookups that can run to whatever you’re playing back from. I use a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 for DI to my DAW and the speakers run into it via TRS cables. If you have no idea or are struggling finding something for your home studio, this is the perfect solution, especially if you’re on a budget.

A Great Investment!! BUY NOW!!
I have a small in-home studio and was in pursuit of monitors that would provide great quality so I'd no longer have to mix songs through my headphones. Well, I'm more than happy. A great investment and sounds real good. But, I guess that also depends on who it is that is doing the overall mixing as well. Once again, great product!
