I have already fallen in love with it! I do a lot of outdoor activities and more times than not I’m telling myself man I wish I had a Go Pro, but didn’t want to shell out the money. This little camera has made it extremely easy to record my kids skateboarding or me throwing axes. Thanks!

 I have an old GoPro 3 and wanted to upgrade to a better travel and snorkeling camera. I have two quality Nikons (SLR and bridge/superzoom) for scenery, and wanted something waterproof for snorkeling and adventure travel. After reading too many online reviews, I decided to take a chance on this one, and i'm very glad I did.It did better than my old GoPro underwater and in bright light. Like many other reviewers, I'm amazed at how well the camera did. It's also fully compatible with all my GoPro attachments, and I had no issue with compatibility. I thought the video quality was outstanding. I can't see any reason to buy a GoPro except if you need a professional quality camera.The camera is easy to operate. After reading reviews about short battery life, I bought a double battery and charger set for $20. Honestly, I never needed to change the battery. I ran the camera on and off for an hour, so I can't say I tested it to its limits. The screen was clear and responsive.As with any budget option, there is a tradeoff, so here's everything I can think of that was either just OK or frustrating. The video and pictures did not have any post editing done except for trimming the video clips.Low light - I took a couple test pictures indoor, and I thought they were under exposed. Easy to fix in editing, but disappointing.Video is sandy water - The camera picked up far more of the cloudiness and sand in the water than I noticed while snorkeling. That being said, this camera was far better than anything I've used before, including the GoPro 3. I usually I have to edit the color balance to get anything close to what I saw, but this was pretty close.Battery - I can't speak specifically to the battery life, but based on other reviews I would have liked something that would run for longer. My challenge is while snorkeling you can't really change the battery. I honestly don't think it will matter unless you are running it on a mask mount the whole time. I use a hand float and turned it off when not in use. After an hour in the water, the battery was still full.Buttons - The buttons are far more sensitive than I'm used to. I bumped them a couple times changing the settings.Screen - The screen is perfect for normal use, but it wasn't bright enough while snorkelling. I had to look carefully to see if it was recording. With a little practice, it was easy, but I missed some of the recording when the camera was powered off and I didn't realize it.Final thoughts? I absolutely love this camera. I can't see why it isn't a perfect choice considering the price and compatibility. For less than $100 I have a completely waterproof camera (with no worries), 4 batteries, 3 charging stations, and a complete set of accessories (purchased previously). The quality is everything I wanted. I expect I'll get better results when I learn all the settings and buttons better, but this was exactly what I wanted.

When we went to Cozumel, we knew we wanted an underwater camera to take pictures with. This turned out to be the best bang for our buck and really worked out well! Easy to understand and use and good picture quality. We will use this this summer while kayaking as well.

My son bought one a couple of moths ago for his paintball matches. After watching his videos I had to have one. Always wanted a gopro but just couldn't pull the trigger on the price. This is perfect for my needs.

When I first bought this, I wasn't expecting much, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I've taken it to the water park and got some awesome shots thanks to the waterproof case. Even in the case you can still hear my kids screaming going down the water slide. I have a mount on my mountain bike and it seems to capture fast paced video pretty well. the remote is a pretty cool extra as well. It comes with a bunch of extra mounting accessories that I'm not even sure what to do with most. Overall, think its a great alternative to the more expensive options out there.

I liked that it is convenient to take anywhere and that it is durable. Image stabilization was not quite what I was expecting - sometimes pixilated and/or shaky.

This was perfect. Great price and great quality. I recommend this product for anyone that doesn’t want to spend too much. Perfect for travel.

Bought it for my son’s birthday and he loved it. He used it for downhill skiing and it had such a sharp and crisp image. It was a good quality camera for such a low price. Worked well and easy to use.
