Great Camera for the price, batteries are a little
The camera is great. Love the wrist remote and the removable batteries. My only gripe is one of my batteries has a faulty contact. The positive on one of them has actually broken off. You can see in the first photo the broken contact on the far left and in the second photo you can see how it's SUPPOSED to look. Not a huge deal because I only use it for a couple hours a day or so but it would be nice if I could get some correspondence back about it. Maybe a replacement single battery? If not no worries, I can buy a 2 pack of batteries for it inexpensive but you know.

Nice Camera At A Very Reasonable Price!
Logitech has a habit of making some very decent products for a reasonable price, and the C270 web camera is no exception.Out of the box, it is simple to set up. It installs easily with Windows. Please note you should check the Logitech website to ensure you have the latest version of the installation software. If your purchased box includes an older version, it will generally work, but like most software, the camera's software gets updated on occasion. Older versions may not cleanly install on 64 bit versions of Windows, or may lack other features, like streamlined Facebook uploading. The software also performs YouTube connectivity. As of this writing the current version for Windows 7 is 2.30.2396.0. The quick install is under 7MB and the full installation consumes about 136MB of hard disk space. Neither large but keep it in mind if you are short on hard disk space!I also have used this on my Mac. It is advertised as being for Windows, but like most things, you should be able to use this on your Mac. The Windows limitation is more of a software issue, where the software Logitech provides is Windows-based. It has nothing to do with your Operating System recognizing the camera itself. Also, I installed the software to see what it was like, but for the primary purpose of doing video calls, you do not need the software. You can use Skype or any other type of generic video-chat product.Depending on how "smart" your TV is, it is also possible to use this on a TV with Skype, in combination with your laptop, etc.I use the web cam to do calls on a 50" TV and it is crystal clear. Resolution on the webcam is 720P, your basic high definition. Resolution is 1280 x 720 for video. Video reproduction is fantastic, fluid, and clear. As with any device of this type, any break-up or choppiness is typically a result of your ISP connection or Skype connection, not the web cam. I have not had an issue either way. Still photos are produced as high as 3MP with software enhancement. Audio quality is excellent and I use it from about 12 feet from the camera when on the big screen TV.The camera is lightweight and only a few inches in size. It includes a built in clip/stand. The clip holds well on my 19" Dell flat monitor as well as on my laptop screen (several different Lenovo models including an R400). The camera also clipped easily to my TV, a stand mounted 50" Panasonic plasma. Depending on your particular monitor/laptop model, of course, your experience may vary. As a stand, the clip/stand is very stable and holds the camera securely. The camera cable is 5 feet long, long enough for most applications. Included with the camera are a user manual and the Logitech Vid HD software CD. The camera carries a 2 year warranty.I have a couple of other web cameras and although this one is not remarkably better than any other HD cam, I have no complaints about it at all. It is a full featured, wonderful HD web camera available for a very reasonable price.

Affordable, user-friendly action camera.
I am so impressed with this camera. I thought I would have to spend a lot more money on a Go-Pro to get the same quality for action stills and videos during water-activities and I didn't! It comes with an attachment to a paddleboard or other flat surface so I stuck it on the nose of my board and had it running the whole time when I went paddling through the intercostal recently. It was safe in it's water-proof case and stable on the attachment. I didn't worry about it one bit (only my camera angle as I believe I positioned it too low on the nose of my board making me look like a giant). It takes crystal clear videos, and has great sound pick-up as well. I haven't played much with the photo-taking ability yet, as I got the camera mostly for videos. I also didn't use the wrist-band remote, as I prefer to slow down the videos on my computer, wait for the perfect shot and then screen shot them from there. It is very user friendly. I just needed to charge the batteries provided, grab a scan disk and go! My favorite quality of the AKAKO V50 Elite is that it has a really nice touch screen backside (which is sensitive!) so you can playback the videos with sound and everything so you know what shots you captured during your adventure.

Best bang for buck as of July 2018
I purchased in late July 2018, roughly 2 months after it's release. Amazon would not allow any reviews up until now, for some reason. From browsing the available action cams at the time, it seemed to be the newest and most feature rich. I've waited til I can spend some time with the camera in different scenarios before leaving a review. My primary use is for connecting to my PC via USB and using as a quality webcam for streaming, but also like the abilities it has from being an action camera, such as it's portability, small size, and ability to record underwater (using the supplied case.Notable features: 4k @ 30 fps, Electronic Image Stabilization, great connectivity, remote. The EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) is available at all the video resolutions you can record at, including 4k @ 30fps.Connectivity:-Connect it to your phone and stream the video feed directly to your phone.-USB to PC for use as web camera-Micro HDMI connectionLike most of the other action cams, it'll include a plethora of accessories to allow mounting in almost anywhere. What to remember: It's not a GoPro. That's fine, because look at the price. Don't buy this action cam expecting GoPro level quality because there's a reason GoPro costs so much more. That said, you get a good value for your money with this camera and most people will not be disappointed. The picture quality is GREAT for a camera in this price range, but 5 stars (on picture quality) is a perfect score and in the realm of Action Cams, no it's not perfect, but, it is VERY good for the price. My Experience:Kudos to the company. The company responsible for this camera is very customer oriented. When my camera arrived, it had the May firmware. Only issue it seemed to have was indoors (with multiple lights on), images and videos were too dark. After checking various other experiences on Youtube, most people seemed fairly happy with the cam but agreed the firmware needed work. One person even flashed a June (or July, can't remember now) to his camera, which ended up bricking it. Akaso replaced it for him with the updated firmware for that month, and then he finished his review. He noted the improvements, to the image and video quality, but continued that it still needed work, and you'd agree watching the video. I decided it wasn't worth risking to brick my camera if that particular firmware wasn't the improvement it needed to be.In August, he released a follow up video and final review after the August firmware update had been released. It was rock solid. The video quality was much improved and minor bug seemed to be fix. So I took the chance and hoped for the best.Unfortunately, my camera was now bricked.I contacted Akaso and detailed my situation and they quickly paid for return shipping for me to send my camera in.After 5 business days, they sent a replacement. The replacement included the August firmware, and as I've been led to believe, all the ones being sold now included that firmware. That is a great firmware. It's that dedication to customer satisfaction that set Akaso apart for me.

Great action camera at an awesome price
We've had our V50 Elite for about a year now and it's still working as good as the day we received it. I really like how compact the camera is, and all of the high end features it has for such a good price. Video and image quality is really good, and sound quality is decent too. When it's in its case it feels really rugged, and we've tested out its waterproof capability by submerging it in our aquariums to record our fish, we've had no issues with water seeping in or any other problems for that matter. If I had to point out any negatives, id say that at first its a bit hard to get the hang of navigating the menus, and connecting to the phone app is a bit wonky, however once you do it a few times it's really not so bad. In all i would definitely recommend this little action cam to anyone that wants to take high quality video on the go, it's proven itself reliable to us and we take it whenever we go offroading or on a trip. The price is pretty amazing for what you get too, i'd take this over shelling out GoPro money any day!

Amazing action/underwater diving camera
Great product! I use this camera on all my underwater diving trips of depths up to 130ft. Captures great footage and holds up in fresh and salt water! Very easy to use. Look forward to using it on other adventures. Great accessories as well!

Great little action camera for the price
So far so good...I haven't used the camera in every situation but what I have used was awesome. I have played with the slow motion feature and playback was smooth. Digital stills and zoom were excellent. I'm looking forward to taking it swimming and boating.

Great Camera Packed With Features and Accessories
I have 2 V50 Pros for shooting footage on the water. I purchased the Elite to add Voice Control to one of the cameras in the fleet. It does not disappoint! I love the ability to remotely start recording video, and the addition of Bluetooth control (vs RF on the Pro) and the ability to start and stop Wifi with a button on the camera (vs touchscreen on the pro) is a real benefit. If you are trying to decide between the Pro and the Elite, I would recommend the Elite. The box is loaded with all of the accessories you need to connect the camera to stands, poles, bikes etc. The beefed up waterproof protector also keeps your camera safe while in the weather. If you are trying to decide between Akaso and other more expensive cameras, I would go with Akaso!
