Very good microscope tool
This is a great product, it is intuitive and easy to use and seems to be constructed of decent quality. I particularly like that the microscope connects via bluetooth to your phone, this is useful when using it outdoors with the kids to look at the beautiful patterns of flowers, plants, etc...

Great camera for the price and NO SUBSCRIPTION nee
The unit is pretty amazing for the price. It functions well and the fact that you can pan in all directions is an cool feature. Also, the app you use is excellent with many features. It's also great that you don't have to buy a subscription to see and save the alert videos. For all these reasons, I am giving it a 5. Fundamentally, it's a great purchase for the money! The only negative is that I found the picture and video resolution to be less than I expected for a 1080 camera. The attached pictures were taken at 10ft, 20ft and 30ft. It also says it can detect motion up to 65 feet away. I found that it was good to about 50 feet which is better than other security cameras in this price range.I would add that Elsa in Customer Service reached out to me after seeing my review which had a lower number originally. I was very impressed with her support which helped me to resolve some of my issues. I think most people would be happy with this camera but if you want high quality pictures you will probably have to pay a lot more money for a different camera.

My 4 yr old loves this camera!
I gave it 4 stars as it is a little difficult for my LO to get to the pictures she has taken. Otherwise, it is a very durable toy. Might be easier for a child a little bit older to navigate.

Takes great underwater videos and photos if . . .
The media could not be loaded.
We are avid divers and wanted an inexpensive, easy to use camera to take on dive trips. After doing some research, I purchased the AKASO EK7000 Pro here on Amazon. We have just returned from two weeks of diving in the Egyptian Red Sea where I took hundreds of photos and videos with our new camera. At first, I was disappointed in the images. They had two problems. First, most of the images, especially those taken beyond 10 feet deep, had a green tint. Second, many of the images seemed over exposed, especially the lighter brown corals. Some more research (while still in Egypt) suggested that the green tint is a common problem with underwater photos and can be resolved using color correction software. I downloaded the Dive+ app onto my iPad and began using it after every dive to color correct my photos. It removes the green tint and restores the color to the images. However, it does not help with the over exposure problem. Through a trial and error process I found that I could vastly improve the over exposure problem by changing the EK7000 Pro's "Exposure" setting to "-1.0".I found that a fully charged battery lasts for about one dive with me taking a lot of photos. The camera comes with two batteries. At first, I changed out the battery after each dive. However, that battery door is hard to remove and feels like it might break, although it never did.. After a while, I got into the habit of charging the battery while it is still in the camera between dives. That worked fairly well. The underwater housing is great. I never had any sea water enter the housing. However, I did find that in order to avoid condensation, it is best to place the camera in the housing and then move the camera with the housing door still open to an outdoor area (but out of the sun) for 5 or 10 minutes before closing the housing. That mostly eliminates the condensation. The manual (available for download) is basic but helpful. However, it is missing one very important instruction. It does not explain how to review photos and videos once the camera is in the housing and the touchscreen is not available. Again through trial and error, I figured out that pressing the UP Button puts the camera in video/photo review mode.I emailed Akaso a few times with technical questions. They always responded in 12 to 24 hours and were reasonably helpful. In summary, the EK7000 Pro is a great little camera that is easy to use and takes really nice underwater photos and videos, once you get the exposure setting correct and learn to use the color correction software (which is very simple).

QuikPod multi-use camera attachment
This item is a real help for someone who needs a third hand or a longer arm. The QuikPod allows me to take a picture at normal height also. I am in a wheelchair so with the QuikPod I can raise the camera up above my head and get the "straight on" shot like everyone else instead of having all my pictures looking "up hill"

Incredibly Smooth Swivel Mechanism & Range
The media could not be loaded.
Hard for one to hide from this camera. It has an impressive area that one can monitor whether looking from side to side or up & down. Cannot believe how smooth and quiet the swivel function works. If mounted in right spot one can monitor a 360 degree area if needed. It will also swivel straight downin case someone is hiding below it.I really enjoy using the Cloudedge app that you can download from one of the reputable app stores. Have used it for other cameras and this camera was discovered immediately by following the excellent instructions in the manual. Takes less than a minute if you've used the app before and have other cameras. Be sure you insert the micro SD card before turning it on. It will find it and format it if necessary. (Used a 32gb card in this one) Since I have 3 other cameras, can now see all 4 cameras at once if I need to on my mobile phone. It's also easy for your partner to use and monitor the camera. You simply have to share it with them.Motion detection works fine. You will have to play with the settings in the app in order pick up the motion you want to capture. The system they use for mounting the camera is one of the best you can find. Attaching the metal plate to whatever you aregoing to attach the camera to is simple. Wood screws are provided. Since I mount it using my own system on a backplate, I use metal screws and nuts. Once the metal plate is mounted, you simply slide the camera into it and use the provided knobbed screws to secure it. It's very easy to remove to clean when necessary.Due to the high capacity battery as well as the provided solar panel, keeping the battery charged is not a problem. I live in Seattle and only get about 6 hours of sun a day due to shade. Charge remains at 100% all the time. The only change I would suggest, is to make the USB cable going into the solar panel detachable. It would be a little easier to mount the solar panel.Must also say the network signal is picked up very well by this camera. I have it quite a distance from the router and the signal is quite strong.Something I normally overlook in cameras is the intercom feature. This one has a clean crisp sound. Just remember to release the intercom icon on your phone once you've spoken in order to hear the person by the camera. In summary, I would highly recommend this camera. Love the swivel capability, long battery life, solar panel, ease of mounting, etc.

Best camera value for under $1500 new.
There really isn't a better deal out there under $1500, or at least under $1,000... under the canon/nikon lineup. After 7 months of use, I can say that this is one amazing camera. It has many of the functions that you get with the 50D. Unless you care about HD video or care about being able to do some major cropping to your photos, your best best for the $ is the XSi.One thing to take note is that the noise levels are amazing. One step down from this camera and you get way too much noise. The 50D has very comparable noise levels. I shoot in a club at iso 1600, exposures without flash run into 1/2 second... noise reduced, they are still excellent quality.. even at 1:1 crops. Also a note on buttons: If you care about using your camera quickly and usefully (unlike a point and shoot) DON'T buy any lower than this! Any step down is missing the shortcut hardware buttons. Why buy an slr, only to change settings in menus?? Sure it is still missing a few buttons, but you can set your own custom menu to help negate that drawback.Metering is decent, you need to make sure to point at a more neutral object to get a good reading. With using the in-camera spot metering on a lastolite ezybalance gray card to get an exposure reading (then switching the camera from Aperture Priority, to Manual and inputing those settings read), the exposure is quite good.No IR assist lamp, so you will have to use an external flash with flash firing turned off (assuming you don't want to use flash) to use its IR assist lamp to focus in the dark. The feature to turn flash firing off, while using the focus assist lamp, is missing on a lot of cameras - so watch out if this is something you are interested in.Quality is great, noise levels are great, auto focus is pretty good, metering is ok, LCD is amazing (!), no IR assist lamp =(Well I'd recommend you stop reading user reviews and go read some professional reviews from somewhere like dpreview, the-digital-picture, and steve's digicams. These are more opinion article-esk than factual professional comparisons.

Great little camera for video meetings
I bought this little camera just as the COVID pandemic was unfurling. I trusted Logitech and knew little else about USB cameras. This has been a true boon to my career. The picture is much sharper and clearer, and with richer color than my colleagues get with their laptop or phone cameras. Sound might be a little muffled compared to a headset mic, but no one has ever complained that they cannot hear me. I see older reviews expressing compatibility issues with Windows 10. I plugged this into a USB port on my Win10 PC and connected effortlessly to meetings on WebEx, Zoom, and Google Meets. The only hiccup with Google Meets is it sometimes defaults to a (nonexistent) mic plugged into my PC's mic jack, so I have to go into settings and direct it to use the Logitech device for sound.

better than computers built in camera
I only gave it a 4 because for the work I do; ESL teacher online, when I switch to my next class the camera has to be unplugged, plugged back in to the computer and then my page refreshed. Not happy with that at all but it is better than restarting my computer which takes 5+ minutes each time.
