I really like the cameras. They are small, battery powered and able to be setup and installed very quickly. I have seen some people neg them for not having 24 hour recording but they are not meant for that. Get a wired system installed if you need that. These are for sticking up pretty much anywhere.One tip, think about your placement a little before buying. I ended up getting two 3 camera kits because I wanted 3 in the front of the house and 3 in the back including back yard. One sync module would not have covered all the way to the end of my back yard to my front porch. They cover a good distance but that was too much to ask. lol

I had several issues with my account being locked out and its very hard to reach their customer support. The camera is great though, high quality video recording with motion detection and night vision. The Blink app is used to save videos.

This camera works OK. It doesn’t have the best night vision, and doesn’t detect vehicles as good. It’s better at detecting people than vehicles. It does require a monthly subscription after you have had it for a month, and it asks you to sign up for this monthly subscription after the return window is closed. The monthly subscription isn’t horribly price, and you can turn it into a yearly subscription for $36, but I wish the company would have been more transparent when I was purchasing it. Update. Customer support reached out to me, and explained it better. First, they have great customer support. Second, you need a subscription or a thumb drive which is mentioned in the information, but I misunderstood. After getting it explain to me better, the thumb drive gives you the ability to do most things that the subscription would do, without having to pay the monthly subscription. This makes more sense, and makes his camera better.

Just got this in the other day and I love it! I wish the umbrella's were a little bigger, but over all they do the job nicely. The case is very handy and seems durable enough. I'd definetly recommend this product for people who are on a budget you get a lot of equipment for a great price!

My suburban neighborhood is generallly very safe. That said ,I am starting to see more people hanging out at shopping areas/ convenience stores for what appears to be no reason. Also am seeing more people walking around neighborhoods that don't seem to be going any where. Thus was looking for some way to monitor perimeter of my house, particularly during the night time and get notified of anyone around my house My back yard is pitch black at night as well. I have added some solar lighting around my house that comes on at night to address this problem.Bought the blink cameras- one for the front and one for the back of the house. Easy to install and the app is pretty user friendly with options for scheduling and setting up specific picture zones to avoid motion detection of tree branches blowing. Also battery saving options which I like and a couple options for storing video clips. Notifications are timely when motion is detected. I mounted each camera in spots that protect it from sun and weather . Also put a protective case around each camera to get some extra protection from the elements.So far so good. It works for what I want. Do I pick up some unwanted motion? Picked up a cat walking across the patio last night so yes. But its not a big deal to me . I just want to know if someone is wandering around my house, primarily at night.Biggest test will be winter months and how well will it work when snow, big time cold and wind chills hit. ...thus 4 stars at this point for a rating. Will be 5 if it works thru the winter weather.Overall for now, glad I bought them. May buy 1 or 2 more for sides of my house on prime days if price is discounted enough. BTW, I have vinyl siding and bought the clips you can use to attach cameras/lights to your siding without drilling holes. They work great and easily allow you to move the camera around a bit if you need or want to .

Just added to my security system. Very good image, easy to install, understandable instructions! Well done! My only complaint is that the IR system cannot be turned off.

awesome camera!! just awesome, its great in its point and shoot simplicity, and powerful in more complex creative modes. would recommend to anybody taking up digital photography beginners of course, there are more better models for pro's (expensive too) but for beginners its a great buy a must i would say.

I love The blink camera it does everything I wanted it to do. However I just recently learned that Amazon has started charging so you can actually see what the blink is recording which that never used to be the case not too happy about that The fee is minimal but with everything you know it will probably go up and then at that point what do you do to go to a professional service where the police can be called?
