Use Smart Life app for lightbulbs
The light bulb is fantastic! Works great! The app that it comes with (PlusMinus) is an absolute joke. Horrible app and wouldn’t connect the lights to the WiFi.. after more then enough frustration, I read other amazon reviews on these and someone recommended downloading the Smart Life app. Had them connected in minutes, and that app is great.

Update your VeSync app first
Make sure your app is up to date. It uses VeSync app. It’s easy to use and I have multiple plugs on the app. Easy to integrate with Alexa.

The app the instructions told me to use - the wifi functionality doesn't work!!!! Then I read that a reviewer used the smartLIFE App and it works. You can't control the color in that app though. You have to use the Alex app or ask Alexa to change it for you.
