As a mechanical engineer who as studied design, I have to say Infant optics fits the bill perfectly for price and function! We had a used monitor donated to us from my sister, but the South Korean brand had a built in battery that no longer holds a charge. I wanted to make sure the features provide the safety we need and the longevity and support of a well established brand. Can't be more pleased with this product.

I just got this lamp and must say that I am very impressed! I was a little wary because the price is so low and it seemed to be a little too good to be true, but this is one time that it doesn’t appear that that particular adage is true. The base is small enough that it doens't take up a huge amount of desktop space and the light is slim, so it's not constantly getting in my way. The lamp seems to be well-made and it’s very functional, just as it says in the description. I love the different light settings and the fact that it charges up my old iPod while I’m sleeping. The timer function is also extremely useful to me, so that just makes me like it even more. So far this has wound up being one of the best desk lamps that I’ve ever had and I would most definitely recommend this product to anyone who asked.

The timer is amazing! I don’t know if the instructions make this clear, but the plant light switches on daily at the same time, and runs for the number of hours you set, so you can even go on a holiday and know that your plants will get enough light.And my plants seem to have really benefitted from this lamp.

I love that these have the automatic 6 hour function! You just set them one time and then forget about them and they'll come on again at the same time every day which means no fussing with my decor on a daily basis.

I bought these tea lights more than a year ago and the batteries in them had died, but I was too lazy to change the batteries up until it was time to decorate the house for the holidays. I ended up buying replacement batteries and another set so I could place more around the house with our Christmas decorations. The timer function is amazing. I love that I do not have to turn them off and on or bother with a remote. I'm planning on buying some for my mom as a gift.

This lamp has four presets—Reading, Study, Relax, and Sleep—with five dimmer adjustments for each preset, for a total of 20 different light settings. Each preset has a slightly different color. For example, Relax and Sleep are both a bit more orange, to lull you into a dusky mood. There is also a timer and a place to charge a USB device.The lamp has a weighted base, and all the surfaces are sleek with a nice sheen without being too shiny. The lamp has a pleasant, clean, modern look. I liked it so well that I plan on getting another to replace my living room table lamps.One of the features that is often overlooked in furniture and fixtures is portability. This lamp is not bulky. It does not take up a ridiculous amount of table space to yield a nice amount of light. It folds up into a very compact item if you need to move.If it could be improved at all, I would say I'd like to see greater range of motion in its swivel ability, as well as the addition of solar capabilities (I have purchased a lamp similar to this one with solar, but it was not nearly as sleek or as large as this one).If you purchase this lamp, you will not be disappointed. I love mine.

 The timer function is great. They turn on right at 7pm and off at 1am. Which is especially nice since these holders are hard to get the tea light out of. The flicker is not very pronounced, but that's not a deal breaker. I also wish they were a little brighter, but again, its no big deal. Overall very nice. I've actually started digging around for old tea light holders long ago stashed away due to the dangers of actual candles with a dementia patient in the house. I need more sparkly lights in my life!
