This laser is fun to use (but must be treated care
Hi. This is a surprisingly powerful laser that can be used as a very neat, wide angle, kaleidoscope or, by removing the front knurled ring, as a long distance pointer. I have used it as a tight beam pointer outside at night (when no airplanes are around) to identify planets and constellations for my family and, for this purpose, it works very well. While the beam travels a long distance to its vanishing point, I would however take the manufacturer’s claim of a 10,000 ft./1.9 miles range with a supersized grain of salt.The takeaway: This is a well made, very powerful, handheld laser that is being sold for a bargain price. It is important to keep in mind though that this laser is not a toy, but is a serious tool that sends out an intensely bright, focused, beam that has the potential to cause eye damage in an instant. For that reason, I believe this value priced laser is best suited for use by adults and responsible older kids/students. Have fun …

Great for Laser Level
Purchased this as a replacement clamp for my budget laser level.The clamp opens wide enough to attach to a 2x wall stud, ladder, or small-diameter pipe.

Good solid telescope for beginners
After much research I settled on the Orion 09007 telescope and it hasn't disappointed. Very sturdy construction and most all the components are cast metal and not much plastic. The tripod, EQ mount and telescope were easy to setup and the supplied instructions are clearly written. The mirrors appeared to be factory aligned, however, I'm sure from shipping they were slightly off out of the box. Collimating the mirrors was easy, I watched a couple youtube videos prior to trying myself and I also purchased a laser collimator. (Note: Be sure the laser is properly calibrated before trying on the scope otherwise you will screw it up. My laser needed some calibration.)My only issue with is with the EQ mount. I wish the RA slow motion knob was on the viewing side. When I am tracking objects I am turning a gear for the motor mount and not the knob. Minor issue and eventually I plan on getting a motor but it would be nice if the motor mount would be on the non viewing side.

Great gift for golfer...easy, accurate
My wife gave me this for Father's Day and I've played two rounds with it. Prior, I used either a hand me down laser a friend gave me or my cell phone Sky Droid GPS. I can tell you that this laser is easy to use, extremely accurate, and the slope technology is awesome! While my playing partners rely on GPS which generally only give you middle, front and back distances, I can dial in exact yardage to pin with this Laser! I love the vibration feature as well, which lets you know you are on target.

Strong Laser pointer
This is great for pointing out constellations or objects of great distance. The beam is very bright and can be seen as far as the eye can see, though of course wasn't able to confirm that it is in fact 10,000 feet. It also comes with a star cap that can be added on and rotated to offer you several different fun beam options. Comes with a USB cord for recharging, but you will need to get your own wall socket adapter to go with it or use a power bank to recharge. Not recommended for city use or children. Please be responsible when using this, and heed the manufacturer's warning about not shining directly into your eyes.

I purchased this item to use with my laser level. It works great! I have not a single complaint. It does the job!
