The watch works great!
The first one I got, the battery must of been defective. Amazon had me send it back and the next day a new one arrived. It works great .Thank you Amazon for making it so easy .

A fun, surprisingly capable camera at a great pric
I purchased this camera to take on a three-week road trip, simply wanting something I could use to shoot the occasional video that could preferably be taken into the water. I ended up using this Akaso for so many things I hadn't even planned! Not only did I use it to take photos and video while swimming, I also made time-lapse and high-definition dash cam video of most of the trip. The long exposure still photography mode is also great for taking images at night (like the one above, a minute long exposure.) I'm sure there's still things I could do with this camera that I haven't even discovered yet.I really love that the camera came with a full set of different enclosures and mounts, some of which I still haven't even used. It's fairly simple to change the camera from a tripod mount to a dash cam to a bicycle handlebar mount, and I really enjoy having this degree of flexibility without having to buy a bunch of add-ons.My only complaints are that the touch-screen interface is a little awkward sometimes (and can't be accessed while the camera is in the waterproof case) and that the battery runs out pretty quickly when shooting video at the higher definitions and framerates. While I appreciate that this camera came with a spare battery and a charger, it still required a lot of planning to make sure I had enough power to keep taking video. More sensitivity on the touch screen and a higher capacity battery would be nice improvements. All in all, I wasn't expecting a lot from this camera given the price and was pleasantly surprised by how useful and capable it turned out to be. A great purchase if you'd like to take video without having to spend an arm and a leg.

Like 5 weeks
I ordered this with the hope of getting it quickly but shipping took forever! Like 5 weeks. I ended up ordering the accessory I needed and getting it in before this arrived. I will not let shipping hold back the overall rating. When it did finally arrive, I was surprised at how many accessories fit into the compact (and convenient) carrying case. I use this kit with a GoPro Hero 4 Session. The camera works flawlessly with every one of the attachments that were included. Some of my favorite accessories are the clip, the wrist mount, the floater, the mini tripod and the selfie stick. With the clip, I am able to film hands-free (if you have the remote for the camera) and easily clip the camera to a hat or a pocket and quickly move it to another location. The floater provides a grip and peace of mind when filming in the water - it held the camera on the surface when my son dropped it in the pool.We set up the mini tripod in the batting cage to film batting practice for my kids. They enjoyed watching their swings and I enjoyed not carrying a bulky camera setup to the field.I tested the bicycle mount out on a recreational ride with my kids and it worked well. I was surprised at how steady the camera stayed - although I have a front shock, so that probably helped. I am not sure how a hard fork would handle it. I plan on using it with my road bike for a triathlon coming up in the spring. I will try to update after the event.Another great part of this is the adhesive strips and mounts that are included. With these, I can mount the camera on any surface for any type of action. I used them on a couple helmets with great success. There are so many accessories that I haven't been able to use them all. Take the dash mount, for instance. I haven't used it, but it is good to know I can!

Very well made housing, and cable connector. It is a bit funny to connect a cable when camera is in the housing, but after you did it, your problems are gone. I love it.

Excellent battery-operated camera. Good image qual
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE follow-up from Blink, which earned them an extra star. The camera itself is nice and compact, and so is the base station. Setup was easy, as it should be. I have a USB thumb drive plugged into the base station to record events, and it works properly. The iPad app works great, and is native for iPad.Live view and the very useful "snapshot" option seem to work well. Image quality seems fine. No complaints even with bright sun in the frame I can still see things. ("Snapshot" images are still video-compressed. If they were straight low-compression JPEG, I'd give the camera 5 stars.)Cool feature: It'll take a picture every hour and create a time lapse of the day. So even if there aren't any events, you can still get a view of how things are going ("Photo Capture"). This feature alone earns it an extra star.Detection is inconsistent. My experience is far better than some other reviewers. Missed a car on the street but caught a person (much smaller in the camera) walking by. Added an extra camera and got better results--more coverage means better detection.A few false alarms (not annoyingly so, maybe every few days). Perhaps the delay between event and clip caused me to miss it.Cannot show live and record a clip at the same time. This is a major flaw -- if someone comes up to the door, I want to see what's happening now, not 30 seconds from now when the clip has finished recording.I now have night vision enabled, and the images are as expected. I installed the camera on our boat, and a visiting marina cat was able to fire an event.Battery life: I've only had the unit for a month or so. no judgement there. Some nights the camera fogs up--but the camera is at the marina. On a boat. On a very humid night. I think that's probably not a design issue.

Know Your Limitations
Everything in the electronic world has limitations, and few things are "plug and play," especially when there are interfaces. My primary suggestion is not to become too frustrated at the first glitch. This item is one example, BUT once you get it operational, it works fine (for now). I do not have long-term experience with it yet so cannot address that. My phone/camera is an LGL63 Android 7.0. Out of the box, this little remote control is very cool and simple looking, appearing to be of good quality. The instructions are in tiny print and not exactly complete or accurate but are close. Based on YOUR type and model of phone, everything may or may not work as advertised, initially. Mine took a bit of trial and error. Links between phone, camera, wi-fi, Bluetooth, software, etc. are too complex for my poor brain, but I can be persistent, if not always patient. The first action required is to "pair" the remote to your phone, following their instructions. For me, that worked. Afterwards, the photo button worked immediately. The video did not, even after ensuring my phone was set to video instead of photo. The "owner's manual" for this remote suggested downloading the "Camera 360" app from Google Play. I did. No change. I then asked Amazon a question (on the product page) and received a few responses, most of which were not helpful but were appreciated. One, however, was better than the others. That person suggested downloading a different app called "Open Camera." I uninstalled Camera 360 and downloaded Open Camera. After a few seconds, I tried it and it worked my phone/video exactly the way it was supposed to work, starting and stopping my video. I love free things but really appreciate the maker of Open Camera. There are always limitations, like your wi-fi set up (it may not work away from yours), distances, software, upgrades, etc. x10.It worked for me and my particular phone/video/wi-fi/level of patience.

High quality images, nice features and travel spee
I love this camera, it does everything I was looking for and more. It is important to download and read the manual to get the best out of it, especially the instructions for the OSD menu/programming. I also recommend watching their Youtube videos.POE connection is great, made connection a breeze. Keep in mind that this camera by itself requires a POE outlet of 24W or moreMine is hooked up to Blue Iris software, set up was easy because I have been using BI for 4 years. But first you have to use the Sunba software to initialize and customize the camera set up how you want it.The quality of the image is remarkable down to the maximum zoom. See the images attached, I can clearly read the plate number of a car that was about 1 1/4 block away.I noticed my PC slowed down after installing the Sunba camera, but increasing my RAM from 4GB (being frugal) to 8GB sorted this out and also boosted the speed of BI App on my phone. The slowness was because I was using the main stream with high resolution which streams huge data files to BI.There was a comment about not being able to turn off the infrared lights at night permanently if you have decent ambient light at night, this is not true. I was able to turn them off through the OSD programming.I also loved the fact the camera can be set to always return to preferred preset position by itself if no further user input. It has abundant preset buttons. The camera rotates 360 degree and beyond and the tilt angle is adequate for my use. Also I needed support on a couple of things and they responded in a reasonable time frame with the right advice.I wish they had the SD card factory installed, but support told me they have that option on their sales website and should be on Amazon in future. All in all the best camera I have in the group hooked to BI.

Great camera; just not working for us / Review Upd

We made some adjustments to get closer to the action (this camera is up high) and it works much, much better. When it says 30' range for motion capture, you have to take into account the distance up as well as out from the action. We get many more notifications of activity than we did at first. Check out the Javalina captured in our driveway in the video above. We are using it more like a wildlife camera but it's not really designed for that. I would not hesitate to use this camera for security purposes in a moderately close environment.I want to love this camera so much... it has a lot going for it. It is sturdy and solid - I was worried because it is held to the base by a magnet, but the first night it was up we had monsoon winds (Phoenix) and several storms since but it has held perfectly. It has a crisp clear view, the app is user-friendly, and it was easy to install. The night vision is great. The problem we have is it is not detecting motion and sending notifications as promised. We got the camera to monitor coyote activity in our yard/driveway. The area we are trying to cover as you can see in the photo is just about 30' in length. We do get random notifications (usually a string of them in a row) of motion about once a day but I have yet to see one thing in the video. But this is the exception Deliberate movement has not been detected. I just did a second test by walking the length of our driveway (with dog) - one with a specific zone chosen and one without) and there was no trigger, no video and no notification. This means I could be in coyote alley and not know it which defeats the purpose of the camera in the first place. Could I have something set wrong? I've gone over and over the settings and instructions and see nothing I missed. Sadly, I can look out my window for the same monitoring this camera is doing.
