If your an existing Amcrest subscriber? Stop reading reviews, this is the only smart lock you need! Installed in 30 minutes replacing your existing deadbolt lock with only a few screws. Once it’s installed just change the factory default passcode to your own and your all set! I've been on the lookout for a smart lock since moving into my current house for years. I've always turned to amcrest when it comes tohome security and protection. They are by far the most affordable and the best well made technology in the business. As someone who was nearly ready to spend 2x-3x the cost of the Simplisafe lock for a smart lock, I was left trying to figure out "where's the catch" when I saw the $129 price tag on this Amcrest Smart Lock. The functionality seemed relatively easy to use. Over-all I'm very pleased with these smart-plugs. Relatively easy to set up and reasonably compatible with Alexa. I like the fact that you can set on-off schedules and that you can activate the plugs manually either from the app or a button on the side of the plug, or verbally from Alexa. Be sure to stick with one make and model because mixing brands can get confusing and other products aren't as user-friendly as these. An other feature I like is that they hold their memory after a power outage and that they will continue to operate as programmed without WiFi. You just can't access them via the app or Alexa while WiFi is down.

Very innovative design making it the only smart lock right now that works with double cylinder deadbolts.

I bought two of these and will probably get a third they are sturdy flexible and Snug and secure.
