Personable
It doesn't keep a good connection with my phone ( Galaxy Note 8). Miss text messages and calls. I was excited to get this watch but I'm disappointed in it. Amazon did replace the original watch thinking something was wrong with it but the replacement has the same issues with staying connected.

Very good action camera with lots of extras - espe
We got this camera for one of our kids for Christmas, so he could take some "action videos". We were looking for something like a GoPro but weren't willing to spend hundreds of dollars for him to run around and possibly lose or break an expensive camera. Since it is his first exploits in this, we were willing to take less features and lower picture quality. However, what we got was an amazing camera for very little money that offers a really good picture quality (in 4k as well!), features like time-lapse, slow motion, the ability to adjust exposure and ISO and many more things. On top of that, the camera comes with lots of extras like different mounts, a spare battery with external charger and obviously the protective case. We have used it to take bike riding and underwater videos and many other things. We are really pleasantly surprised by the value of this little camera. The extra battery with separate charger is priceless, since you can swap batteries and keep charging your spare. The little charger can charge two batteries at the same time. The battery life itself could be better, but since you have the spare and charger, it more than makes up for it.While the GoPro's are still the high standard, these little Akaso's are a great alternative that does not break the bank - especially if you are just getting into action cams.

Great camera, possible firmware update problem. S
Loading a firmware update using the phone app may cause big problems shortly after the update.I bought the Ultimate Kit first and followed direction exactly, used included and recommended SD cards.Connected to my late model Samsung phone and, let the insta360 app update the camera firmware.About 20 minutes of video using both lenses over 2 days. Then camera froze, first the power button would not shut down the camera, then shutter button wouldn't do anything, later touch screen locked up. Tried many times removing battery, powering back up.I do not buy things from Amazon just to try them out. I hate returning things but couldn't think of a solution so I sent that one back to Amazon. A replacement wasn't available so ordered a Twin Edition.Same steps as before, same problems started to happen. Before everything locked up I tried additional debugging steps. Download last two versions of firmware available at the time to my computer. Put the firmware, one at a time, onto the root of the SD card. First 1.2.68, let the camera load it, then 1.3.8 and let the camera update to it.So far this seems to have fixed the problem.

Good system
This is a video monitoring system designed for use in cars. The system consists of a camera paired wireless with a devoted video display. Also included in the box are a windshield mount for the display, 2 USB micro charging cables, 2 12V USB A adapters for the charging cables, 2 mounts for the camera, a micro SD card, and a paper manual. Both the camera and display are powered by internal rechargeable batteries. The system saves media on the included micro SD card. The batteries are rated for 4 hours of continuous use, but the charging cables are long enough so that you can plug both devices in to your car’s 12V power system and drive all day if you need to. The camera has built in night vision. The display has an easel stand in case you want to use this system at home instead of just in a car.I like the flexibility of this system—it’s great for traveling since its easy to set up the camera and move it around. You can easily use the monitor system as a regular baby or child monitor once you get to your destination. Or vice versa—this is a baby monitor that is ready to use in a car as well as in a house. The reminder to check your tiny passenger when you arrive is a really great feature. The night vision feature is great, although you have to turn it on manually. The voice activation feature is really good for times when you’re using this system at home and your baby is in another room. The setup was quite straightforward, and the image quality quite good, especially considering this is a baby monitor, not a devoted camera. Overall, this is a versatile child monitor system.

Results were what I was looking for
I got this because something was spooking my mother’s dog at night. She doesn’t hear well, so wasn’t hearing what the dog was. I was worried about prowlers, though turns out it was two stray cats either yowling or fighting at night. Mom had also noticed that something was shredding the outdoor carpet on her porch steps. The camera caught a squirrel spending hours shredding her carpet (assuming it was building a nest). So the trail camera brought peace of mind for my mom and myself. The cons: as someone else mentioned, the camera will only collect 50 shots in a 24 period. Swaying branches, moving shadows, and a busy squirrel can fill those 50 shots quickly. Then you have to wait until midnight before it starts logging pictures again. Also, be sure to watch both YouTube videos on setting the camera up. The paperwork that came with it didn’t mention that the SIM card has already been pulled from the cardboard and inserted into the camera when you get it. I had to learn that from one of the videos. I still need to find instructions to set date/time and try to set it to only capture images during a specific timeframe (so it won’t burn through 50 pictures capturing shadows and trees branch movements.

Very impressive camera and awesome battery life.
I did a LOT of research before getting these and I have to say I’m impressed!!!The value and what you get is well worth it!!Battery life is awesome(I have 4 cameras)my most active camera on the garage was installed almost 2 months ago and is still holding a charge at 51% while the others are at 68% and one that has a solar panel is at 100%.You don’t need a subscription but, they do have a paid option for better motion detection. They have a built in mic so you can talk through the camera and it’s surprisingly loud and clear along with a siren and strobe light to ward off deer or burglars. One camera is set up in the crawl space for critters in complete darkness(see pic)and is very visible.Easy to set up and you can add others who load the app to view the cameras from there phones. The only 2 minor downside I have is that there is a slight delay of maybe 2-3sec for the camera to come on and record when it detects motion. So when a car drives at 10mph by the time it detects motion the car is half way pass my house. Also you can fine tune days/times for the camera to be in"sleep"mode to save on battery life but, they are in 30min time increments so instead of wanting the cameras on at 7:10am when I leave to work it would be 7:30am not a big deal but, would be nice to personalize and fine tune the times.Besides that you can’t beat the price and value for these little cameras and I would highly recommend them if you don't want to pay a premium for the competitors for the same quality camera.

Excellent Compact Micro Camera for active lifestyl
We really liked the small compact size of the Camera, the fact that it is waterproof and we tested it a the beach, held up very well in and out of the water. This camera is a great supplement to the camera on your phone, it can capture images and video your phone cannot and you only need one hand or no hands at all. We were really impressed with the quality of the video especially. We appreciated the thoughtful design of the camera, the battery case, charging accessories that are all included. Set up was easy with the app as was usage, you just point and shoot as there is no view finder and watch it on your phone or computer. The cool thing we found is you actually pay more attention to the experience with this device as you are not looking through a view finder or limited to the size of the screen on your phone. We really liked how this works well in all weather conditions and with no screen to focus in bright sun being just point and shoot you are not distracted from the action trying to see if you are getting the video you want. All you need to hold it is your thumb and index finger, it is really that small and well designed. That means when you are grabbing action shots or you are part of the fast moving action shot this camera stays very steady or as steady as you keep your one hand. It's small enough that you can film without calling attention to yourself, something we thought was outstanding for travel and crowded places.Overall, we give this camera a 5 star review, we are really glad we bought it as it allows us to take shots that we just cannot easily get with out phone cameras.

Worried about battery life? Read my explanation of
You will see many people are unhappy with the battery life of this camera and I would like to explain why to help you decide if it's a good fit for you or not. When the camera is just waiting (no motion and not being viewed live) then the actual camera is off as well as the main transmitter to send the signal. Instead only the PIR (motion sensor) and a small powered radio are on.When it's in this stand by mode the battery will indeed last 2-3 months pretty easy. But every time you view the camera live or it sees motion and records it then the camera is on and the main transmitter is on and this draws a lot of power. So, if you want to have it record a lot of motion or view it live a often then the battery may only last a few weeks to a month. If however you want it to cover an area that is not under constant movement and you won't be peeking at the live shot a lot then it's the camera for you.Myself I put it in my home office and used the Geofence mode that means it is not looking for motion while my phone is at home, but when I leave and get half a block away then it's looking for motion and will record and notify me if there is any.Nobody should be in my home office when I am gone so this means I rarely get a notice and it means that my battery lasts pretty close to the 3 month they say it will.I initially bought this to point at our driveway mounted outside but I quickly realized that with the number of people going in and out that the battery would not last but a few weeks at most. But by putting it in my office it's really the perfect application for this device.Hopefully this helps to explain all the different reviews and controversy over the battery life.

Amazing value for the money
Keep in mind that I'm both not very experienced with cameras, and use this mostly for videos.I ended up going with the Canon EOS M after doing a bunch of research on camcorders and cameras that were roughly in the same price range. To be honest though, I mostly went with this one because it went on sale right before I went to buy the camcorder I'd been looking at at the time.Pros:*I REALLY like the quality for only being a $300 camera.*seems much more user friendly then the DSLR's I've played around with (there wasn't much of a learning curve)*I've only had it for about a month, but it doesn't seem too overheat too badly with filming videos (which is mostly what I use it for)Cons:*screen doesn't flip around*only has two compatible lenses for this camera, I can buy an adapter to use normal canon lenses but it's almost as much as the camera*autofocus is a bit slow, which can be a deterrent for other people who like me, are filming videos by themselves and don't have much practice with changing the focus every time they want to move*doesn't affect me much, but it's VERY front heavy - however my cheapo tripod holds it just fineOverall, I think for the price my camera is one of the better options. I'll probably upgrade eventually, but I think this camera will keep me happy for at least a year or two, and I've yet to play with this camera under professional lights - so the quality could very well go up even more.
