Homeowner here. I just installed three of these in a shop. I like them, but have two comments. First, alignment with the shaft. The motors tend to move slightly when operating, which I assume is due to either the alignment on the shaft or that the shaft is slightly bent - causing the motor to move as it rotates. I spoke to a Liftmaster dealer and he said theirs do the same thing, so I assume most likely the garage door shaft. I left the lag bolts slightly loose and let it move, rather than screwing it down hard. Screwing it down hard would make me think the pressure that moves the unit would be isolated within the unit, and possibly cause premature failure. Second, on the last install, on the first time I tried to close the door, the cables came off the drum. I’ve come to the conclusion this door’s spring was wound too tight, so there was no gravity pulling the door down at the upper limit. So when the unit tried to unwind, there wires came off. We’ve reset the tension, and it’s working fine now. Time will tell. I said that so that others need to check to see that the door will want to close at the upper limit. Mine was first adjusted for a manual lift, which was great, but it also kept the door at the top (took a significant pull on the rope to get it started down). Try this out before installing the unit. You need gravity to help you with this unit, not like standard garage doors. Standard doors work in a push-pull process, where this design requires gravity at the upper end to ensure the door wants to go down and the cables stay tight:on. Instructions could be improved upon. I have not tried the motion detection yet. When I received them, one of the batteries in one of the lights, had corroded, so it wouldn’t work. I replaced the batteries and all was good. I love them and may order more.

I set these up for computer sound, and for an Amazon Echo device, and they worked great right out of the box. The computer cable was included, and I already had another similar cable to connect the Echo. It took about 5 minutes to set them up, and they worked perfectly immediately.Very satisfied.

Last summer I bought a similar product for a wedding, and I loved it. But, I took it out on a shoot and forgot it someplace in West Virginia so I had to replace it. These are so inexpensive that I decided I would buy two, and hopefully not have to buy anymore in the near future. As long as you're careful with them, they'll work great.As far as problems with the reflectors, the painted sides (silver and gold) are a little sticky and they seem to rub off just a bit when you fold them and unfold them a lot. Eventually, this may make the sides less reflective, but for now, it probably just makes the light a little softer. If you're wondering if you should buy a more expensive reflector, don't. A reflector is just a shiny surface for reflecting light into a shadow and you don't need one that costs a bunch: they're just going to reflect light!

There’s not much to dislike apart from the price and the need for more than one for many applications. However, the two sync in the app and provide great lighting. Colour temp can be matched with the camera (ZV-1) for great results.Highly recommended.

Have been using this for two months now as someone who does a little professional photography at events on a freelance basis around my current job. Overall been very impressed. Reliable and easy to install. Marries well with the design of the camera and synchs well with various functions. It does look like it could be a bit bulky in the picture, but it is light, well balance and well-made.
