Great smart lock, but has room for improvement.
Works as advertised and installation was easy. The geo-fencing feature is a added bonus once you purchase the August Wi-Fi bridge. I haven't gotten locked out since the lock was installed. The lock handle is a bit bulky and Wi-Fi access should be standard, not an add on with a separate bridge. Dog goes crazy when the lock unlocks and locks.

Very nice touch to our pool!
Bought this to hang from the trees over our pool. Works great with our outdoor Wi-Fi dimmer plug (purchased separately).

Brilliant product simple and effective. Works well with own hub and Alexa and even when Wi-Fi down via Bluetooth and app.

Nice unit
We needed to get a wi-fi booster pod in order for it to work. But it works fine now. Also, the night light on the unit is helpful.

Solar powered for installing without wires.
Easy to set up. I tested it about 100 feet from the house and the Wi-Fi connection worked. Very clear night vision.

Excellent customer support
The wi-fi bridge died after 3 years. August sent a free replacement bridge without making me jump through hoops.

Excellent Overall
These switches work well with wi-fi, and set-up actually works well, unlike other brands. (These Kasa switches are made by TP-Link, so you know they work well. The only drawback is that they, like virtually all wi-fi switches only work on the 2.4G band, not the faster 5G band. Depending on your router, this can cause connection issues.
