So far it does exactly as stated. I just bought my PS5 and this is my first ever external hard drive I've owned for a console. It was easily configured with the PS5. Just make sure to plug it into the back of the PS5, as the PS5 directs you to, versus the front USB port. It'll format it and then moving forward all your installed games will be installed into the external hard drive. No brainer. I'll update as I go and if any issues occur, but so far so good.

It was easy to install and it hasn’t come of the dashboard yet - it’s been about two weeks now. I’m waiting to see if maybe the adhesive wears off after a month or two, but I really don’t think it will.

I am using this with my sony playstation 4. It allows you to have all the data on the external hard drive and not taking up your tv memory.

this hard drive is a lot heavier and sturdier than i thought it’d be! the packaging is great too. minimal and neat and no damage or anything like that. anyway on to the actual purpose of the driveset up was exactly how you’d expect. extremely easy to use. my laptop (hp stream 14) read/recognized it right away. was easy to find in my file explorer. titled “new volume (D:)” as you can see in my pictures. its also pretty damn fast. i did only copy over like two or three 2-4 minute videos at a time tho so keep that in mind (10 in total).so yeah so far im pretty happy with this drive. maybe i’ll update this with more info the more i use it. for rn though i definitely recommend!
