Light and mic
Great lighting, the mic isn't the best but it helps a little.

Best in it's Price Range
Full disclosure, this mic was sent to me (or to my YouTube channel) for free to review. What you are about to read, however, is my honest opinion. So let's get one thing out of the way, much like the dual head mic I reviewed before, this is a budget mic and if you are expecting it to compete with mics in the $100 range you will be disappointed. However, if you compare this mic to others at or near the $15-$20 price range, then you will find that it's the best in that range. It comes in a nice little package with a carry bag, adapter, replacement pop filters and instructions and I found that the packaging and accessories were of the same quality as the stuff I got with much more expensive lapel mics.I'm just going to level with you and say in plain English that the sound quality of the recording is not great, however, a $20 mic with great sound quality *does not exist* so it would be unfair to hold that against POP Voice. I found that with some work in Adobe Audition, I could make the recording usable, so, as I like to say, the best mic is the one you have access to.If price is your #1 concern then this is the mic to get, plus it makes a great back up mic if you already have a more expensive or professional mic. I think that if you keep your expectations reasonable, this mic is at the top of it's price range. It is the best $20 mic I have ever used (and there's even a dual head version for interviews and such). I'm not going to tell you that this is the only mic you'll ever need and you should beware of anyone who says that about any single mic, but if you're looking for value then you could do far, far worse.

Works great
Decent mic for the money, feels solid, no problems with it yet after using it going on 6 months or so. If you're just the 'average gamer' using teamspeak, skype, discord and in game voice chat this mic is for you. Could probably be used for a number of things but as for my experience with this, that is all I do with this mic.

Finally
At last I got this mic after doing about a month of homework on which condenser mic to go for. If you're debating between the Blue Yeti, Snowball, Samson C01U, and this mic, there are plenty of reviews on youtube and google. At2020 was the most common one that people liked regarding affordability and sound quality.

Bang for buck !!
Great bang for the buck. I use foam covers and it works perfectly. Make sure the foam is well-seated on top of the mic and there’s no gap between foam and the mic.

Quality and support.
Excellent sound quality. Very easy to use.You can control the mic volume on the mic itself. The 2AA batteries on the mic last a very long time even when I use it 3-4 times a week. Customer service/support is unparalleled and outstanding. I highly recommend this dual mics system

Purchased for Wii game system rock band .. the mic works well and sounds great. Also, tested on my computer as a conference mic in a professional setting and it worked well.

As good as the Shure sm58
Price and performance wise, this mic is as good or better than the sm58.I have been using 3 the of Behringer xm8500 mics in my home studio for over 5 years now. The sound or 'flavor' of this mic is almost identical to an early 90's Shure sm58 that I also use in the studio. The only noticeable difference between the two (sound wise) is the xm8500 has a tiny bit more output, and the presence peak is slightly lower in the frequency scale - I would describe this as the sm58 peak being slightly airy and cutting, and the xm8500 being thick and meaty. If you are using this mic with a 3 band eq, you can bump the mids slightly and match the sound of the xm8500 to that of the sm58 with no problem.Build wise, this mic is as beastly and tank-like as the sm58. It has a nice heft to it, solid metal housing, all that good stuff. This mic excels on vocals, close mic'ing drums, bass cabs, guitar cabs,...basically anywhere you would normally use an sm58, you can use this mic there and it will perform like a champ. My favorite task for this mic is bass amps, and toms. The presence bump on this mic makes toms sit just right in the mix w/out having to fuss with the eq too much (you get the nice low end 'thwump' and the necessary mid range 'slap' to not only hear, but FEEL the toms in the mix).Do yourself a favor and build some xlr patch cables with resistor(s) in them to better match the low impedance signal of this dynamic mic to the high impedance inputs of today's mic preamps. You will find that the mic will perform as it (or actually the sm58 it is modeled after) was designed to. Google 'taming the shure' for more info. For about $20, this mic definitely beats out the sm58 in my book. Don't be a gear snob,...get your money's worth and try out this mic.
