I bought one of these to keep an eye on my horses and watch for them when they are foaling. I used a wireless bridge to get it to reach to my barn. The night vision is really pretty good. Not so great at a distance, but still good. It was so good that I bought 2 more to watch my home. They all connected to my phone and I get alerts often. It is quite sensitive, so I had to scale back the sensitivity because it was picking up my cats walking in my yard all day and every time a horse moved it was dinging me. I can talk back and forth on these cameras and I was also able to give permission for my friends to view my cameras to assist me watching for my horses to foal which allowed me to get more sleep which was a total lifesaver. I do recommend the solar charging panels. Because I did watch (as did my friends) the horses quite a bit and had to recharge often. If you don't watch or check in much, the battery will probably run you for months, but I got tired of climbing up and taking it down to recharge. But like I said, there were many viewers on my cameras and they were being used a lot. All in all, this is a great wireless system that was easy to set up and I have not been disappointed! It is best to mount them under an eve or shelter because if it is raining, your lens will get covered and you can't see much. I don't think you will be disappointed, and this is much cheaper than the Ring or other systems.

This is my first review, but I had to let everyone know how awesome this company is! I first purchased this in November of 2018 and a couple weeks after purchasing I dropped it and the screen stopped working. I emailed them and they immediately sent me a replacement. It has been very reliable up until yesterday when the screen and buttons on the monitor stopped working. So I emailed them again, and again received a very quick response saying they will send me a replacement. Aside from the awesome customer service, I love this camera and monitor. It has good sound, good night vision and picture quality, and has good range. I have 4 cameras connected to the monitor and it’s easy to switch to the different cameras on the monitor. I love this camera and monitor!

This will be our second VTech baby monitor. We used a different model with our first two kids and it had a number of design flaws (charge port broke after a few months, not all cameras had the same range, could not turn off camera light, grannie night vision). After playing with this new model for a week it looks like they have fixed all of these issues.I was a little concerned with giving this model a try after reading all the posts concerning how the camera and app continuously needed to be reset or lost connection as this was one of the issues I have with one of the two cameras we had with the old model. Fortunately after one week of use we have not see this issue. I assume its a hit or miss manufacturing defect.

I had a Summer video monitor that broke after 5 years. When I contacted Summer they did not have any replacement parts and wanted me to upgrade for an insane amount of money. So after much research I found this monitor. BEST PURCHASE EVER!!! This monitor cost less than the Summer and does WAY more. I can watch 2 cameras at once, manually pan the cameras around the room, and even talk to the children through the camera. It comes with a nightlight and will play lullabies to help put your little one down. There is no down side to this monitor. It has FANTASTIC range and the rechargeable battery lasts for hours. I’m glad my original monitor broke. I now see what I’ve been missing. Awesome product!!!

Bought this with two additional HiSeeu 5MP PoE dome cameras as a bundle. The bullet cams are decent but could benefit from the use of a gimbal-style mount. The lens affords about 75 degrees of coverage so good for focused areas of coverage. The domes do about 110 degrees so better for close-in spaces like rooms and such. Since they are wide-angle you'll get some perspective effects.The cables that came with the kits are pretty thin (likely low-twist count stranded conductors) and the weather boots are nice. I'm not sure why the cameras have both an Ethernet plug and a power plug when the NVR has PoE. It makes the cabling more messy than it needs to be. I say that they should drop the barrel power stub out and make the cameras PoE-only.The NVR unit is pretty typical, mostly an empty box with a pair of boards and likely running a Hi3536 series SoC. The software on the NVR itself is decent but seems to only support a mouse; no keyboard. That makes data entry a bit of a pain.Client software is more hit-or-miss, and likely more miss than hit. To connect to the NVR on a Windows box you need to use an ActiveX plug-in and IE; that's a dead end and there doesn't seem to be a replacement for that yet. HiSeeU's web site is a confusing mess when it comes to software support.The XMEye app for iOS is serviceable but crashes after running for several hours on your typical iPad. A memory leak, it looks like, because it complains that the device has run out of memory. Restarting the app gives you a few more hours of run time.Overall, the video quality of the system is good. The two-way audio, as run from the XMEye app, works well and has about a 10 foot range from the camera being used as an intercom in most conditions. I still need to dig in and set up detection zones and stuff so can't speak to the quality of that functionality.Hopefully we'll see some better/newer apps from HiSeeU in the near future. The base hardware and NVR are good; they just need to get that last bit of software nailed down.

 Through the years, my wife and I have had numerous baby monitors. Our first was just audio (this goes back 30 years) for our own kids. Now, there are these awesome color screen monitors that pan/tilt/zoom and are wireless. We have a small unit we've been using to monitor our grand babies and it's worked fine. However, it only supports one camera and is fixed lens. (No Pan/Tilt/Zoom) When I saw this one with two cameras, I knew I had to try it. It exceeds my expectations. My pros and cons below:Pros:1) Super simple to hook up and get working. Literally plugged in and pushed the pairing button. Super impressed with the ease of handshaking these units did with the head monitoring unit2) Remote monitoring screen is large, colorful, and more than adequate3) Audio is crisp and clear4) Talk function works well5) Play music feature is cool6) Ability to add cameras in the future is nice (expand ability if needed)7) Did I mention the Pan/Tilt/Zoom features? Very nice and effective8) Split Screen to watch and navigate between is super nice9) Battery seems to last a long time10) Night vision seem to work quite wellCons:1) I must admit, I didn't find anyIf you or someone you care for needs a quality remote monitoring solution, I'd highly recommend this monitoring unit. 5-Star from me.

Just hooked up the cameras and these features meet my expectations--night vision, motion detection and picture quality. Has yet to test the intercom function. During setup, LED does come on during charging and turns blue when charging is complete. However, LED does NOT come on when hitting the power or reset button. Thus don't know if power is on or reset initiated. Made several attempts in hitting power and reset buttons, until finally hearing a beeping sound from the last reset button push. Only then did I know I would succeed in activating cameras to add them to CloudEdge and connect to wifi. For this reason and intercom performance TBD, 4 star rather than 5 star overall rating.

We came from a Panasonic monitor that served us well for a year. After our second was born we decided to switch out and give this one a try due to its glowing reviews. Boy were we not disappointed. The monitor is very responsive and has an awesome image quality. We were so happy it came with a zoom lens because we have our monitor set up across the room and now we can see our older child so much better than before, so there's no more trying to decipher if her eyes are actually closed out not. The interface is super simple as well, the menu is concise and it's easy to get everything done with a few button presses. The had swivels very quickly and all the way around, so it's easy for us to check on both of our sleepers in just a couple of seconds--as quickly as it would have been on our previous monitor to switch between cameras. Setup was a breeze and we have peace of mind with it not being Internet ready so we won't have to worry about hackers.
