Works great!
These switches are better than I expected. Easy as any switch to install and not too difficult to link to your home network and connect to the Amazon Alexa app. Just make sure you don't have the same SSID for your 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz wireless networks. These are a great value if you want to give smart switches a try.

Can switch automation get any easier?
Super easy to install. Customize the switch settings with the iOS application. I have these installed on my exterior lights and have automated them to turn on at dusk and off at dawn. I will never have to remember to turn the outside lights on at nighttime and they won't be on all day if I forget to turn them off. One minor issue was setting them up with my wireless router. The switches require 2.4Ghz band which was a problem since I don't specify the specific wireless band by their signal. By adding a simple (and inexpensive) 2.4Ghz signal repeater the issue was resolved. Alexa integration was a breeze and works perfect!

Easy to configure and install. Works like a charm
Love the product. All you need to know is if your smart router is both 2.4 and 5Ghz, to separate the two networks since these switches only communicate in 2.4 Ghz. I bought a four pack of light switches and a 4 pack of lamp wireless plugs to use in my house.

East to set up. Used my laptop to Wi-Fi into it.
Works great for 5 or 2.4 Ghz signal. I had ZERO signal on 5 Ghz in my basement. With this I can now connect anywhere in my house to 5 Ghz. Works great. Easy to setup with Wi-Fi and an internet browser.

Reliable
It's reliable and better than Linksys. You have several options, you can extend 2.4ghz or 5ghz using both 2.4ghz and 5ghz, or just one of those. Very flexible settings. You can also plug a wired device like a computer or game console into the ethernet port instead of using a USB wifi adapter

Need access to 2.4 GHz wireless
This review pertains to iOS Kasa app and HomeKit integration. I have a 2ng gen Apple TV 4K with an Asus AX5700 wireless router.Installation and configuring the EP25 smart plugs is seamless using Kasa's app as is integration with HomeKit. Note that you will need to have access to and actively be on a 2.4 GHz wireless network for the process to complete successfully. All switches are working as expected. I have one installed using a schedule to turn on at sunrise and off at sunset to control a plant light. I have another on some shop equipment to perform power cycling. And another on a water distiller to monitor runtime and power usage. We'll see how long the relays hold up over time, as TP-Link does not provide any specifications for internal components to see what kind of power handling limits or life expectancy they have. One improvement that could be made is in the energy monitoring feature. As of version 2.38.0 | Build 1-29, the Kasa app has two screens that show power usage and runtime. The first screen is for power and shows current watts + total kWh for 1 day, daily average + total kWh for 7 days, and daily average + total kWh for 30 days. There is a 2nd screen showing runtime: current + total hours for 1 day, daily average + total hours for 7 days, and daily average + total hours for 30 days. There is no graph, no data is shown beyond 30 days (no lifetime power usage/runtime), and there is no way to break down power usage or runtime on a per-day basis, which is a feature some other energy monitoring smart plugs offer.

Hotspot 2.4ghz
This thing is literally kick ass. It’s beautiful, you can adjust settings over the app to avoid dizziness and overall it just creates a wonderful vibe to the room. I would 10/10 recommend, I got it for Christmas and now 2 more family members are going to buy it because of how cool this thing is!I’m here to help you though.I struggled with my wifi and hotspot because both were 5ghz which this device is incompatible with. But for IPhone users I have a solution! If you have a personal hotspot turn that bad boy on and hit the switch on the “Maximize Compatibility” when you do that all that’s left it getting on the app and connecting, everything should work out after that!Doing that just makes it so your hotspot switches to 2.4ghz making it compatible with the device. It’s not harmful so don’t worry :)I hope this helped anyone struggling!
