Great Support from Dave S. at Amcrest Support!
Very nice camera with great picture and night vision. I had some trouble setting up remote viewing through the Amcrest app, but Dave S. at Amcrest took the time to help me set everything up correctly and now it works great. Very happy with this purchase!!

Amcrest customer service, Jared in particular, was very helpful on two occasions and quickly fixed both problems remotely. The Amcrest camera works very well even when inverted and the picture is great. I can connect with it from either my cell phone or my laptop from anywhere there is a wireless or using my own cell hotspot to my laptop for a larger picture. I've had it for 8 months now so I've tested it from all over the country both mounted outside and inside so I can check on my cats and my house. Thanks A Bunch Guys, Gary

Great camera, but be prepared to protect your priv
This camera works great! The ability to listen, talk, PTZ, night vision, and WiFi connection all for ~$45 is great! So great that I bought two. There is one massive problem I have with this (and nearly all other similar products on the market) is that it wants to connect to Amcrest's servers. I work in cyber security which is why I am aware that these cameras attempt to reach the internet. I find this unacceptable. I prohibit the cameras from connecting to the internet using my router (similar to when you block your child's phone from internet access). Additionally, I use a Pi-Hole to control which sites my devices can connect to. The attached picture is a screenshot from the Pi-Hole. You can clearly see that both cameras reach out to Amcrest's servers more than all other DNS queries from all of my devices, combined. This is common for similar products, so I would STRONGLY suggest anyone considering any security camera for inside their home to be aware that you may not be the only one able to see the camera's feed. If you'd like to protect your privacy then I urge you to take the aforementioned steps to control what internet traffic is going in and out of your home.

Updated - Poor Support, poor app, poor configurati
This is my 4th Amcrest camera. I always have difficulty with the View Pro app and to reset the cams to default, you have to open up the camera to reset it. Which I can live with because overall I have been happy once I get it working right. However this time It will connect on wifi and online through amcrestcloud.com, but it will not connect through the View Pro App on my data connection. But my other 3 amcrest IP cameras do. After waiting for an hour for support, they told me the only way to get it to work is with port forwarding. If that was true, why do my other 3 amcrest ip cams work and why can I view it online via amcrestcloud.com. If I get a better reply with the e-mail I sent to support, I will update my review, but I'm not holding my breath.-------------Updating my review. Technical support replied by e-mail and helped me resolve the issue. I do still have one problem with this camera, which is upon PTZ, the camera sometimes reboots. It may be that I need a POE+ 30W switch because the PTZ uses more juice. If that fixes my reboot issue, I will go 5 stars. To be continued. ---Updating to a stronger POE fixed the rebooting issue. However, sometimes I lose the connection. I'm not sure why this happens. Then all of a sudden, a few hours later or the next day, it starts working again. Despite my issues, the night vision and zoom is great.

The product works like it should. Tech support has helped me out every time I have an issue. Raymond Hayes was the last tech I talked to and did a great job sorting out a non computer person.

Trying to Add 2nd Amcrest Camera. Get the Message
The ProHD 1080P is a great device. I would recommend to anyone. But I need a solution to the following issue: I just bought a second Amcrest camera buy when I try to install as a second device on my iPhone 6s with the Amcrest Pro App I get the message "device already exists". The forums say download the Lite app as well as the Pro app. But the Lite app no longer exists in the U.S. App Store. I have tried all the other forum recommendations and the Amcrest website does not have the solution. Does anyone out there in Amazonland know the answer? Thanks.
