I bought this camera to keep an eye on my dog while working. I like it because is small and it give me notifications about sound and movement and I can also speak to my dog toCalm him down.

I tested and working fine now. About image quality
My Yi 4K camera stopped working after couple weeks. Yi Technology replied quickly and determined that there was a hardware issue and sent me promptly a replacement. I tested and working fine now. About image quality, very good in daylight outdoor and underwater ... no so great in low light, but it's expected.

Been using it for 18mos now
I bought it March last year when I started working from home and it's been working really well. It has a clear resolution and easy to install and operate. This month though I started noticing a delay in starting up the camera whenever I first join in a meeting. Other than this, it's a great value for money purchase. I recommend this product.

Great product
Excellent product, arrived just in two days and works like new. I thought it was not working at the beginning because it was not connecting to my phone, but I solved it by updating the camera's firmware. Overall really great product and provider.

YI Action Camera app not working with Chromebook
Just received this a few days ago so my review so far is that the app that you need to update the firmware is not available to my chromebook; says current version not compatible. My chromebook has Play Store available to it and other Android apps have no issues. I have contacted YI by email and other than a computer-generated response indicating a receipt and will contact me shortly, I have heard nothing. Hopefully I will update this review with something positive regarding this issue.UPDATE: My bad! You can update the firmware from their website. All the versions are available here so if the camera starts misbehaving after an update you can always go back to the previous version that was working for you. Added a star. They still haven't responded to my email though.UPDATE: They did reply to my email saying that as of now the app won't work with the Chromebook.

Great product, and even better customer service!
Had a camera that stopped working. Tried switching the cords and still would not turn on. Reached out to customer service and sent us a replacement no questions asked. They were very quick and helpful. Received the replacement within 3 days.

Great Customer Service
We dropped our display module one too many times and finally the volume buttons on top quit working. I emailed asking if we could please get another display module, within a few days they had mailed a whole brand new system - camera and display. Then emailed me when delivered to ensure we got it and everything was working find.

This camera is working great. It's Windows Hello face detection seems even better than a Surface Pro 4's. The video quality is excellent. It is a bit sad that no one's online video chat service uses a 4K stream. But the high resolution makes using digital zoom work very well.
