Good purchase, many options for settings.
After charging camera, set it up with a small bit of difficulty. The instructions were not clear concerning the pairing of the camera. It may have been my fault since it eventually worked without issue. The quality of the picture is very clear and actually has a larger range than stated in the manual. I did buy 2 cameras and am glad I did. Be sure to also purchase the SD card for activation. I will also be subscribing to the Cloud service for my cameras.

A Must Have for New Parents! The search ends here
Background: My wife and I are first time parent of a (now 4-month-old) baby boy. Up until recently we have been using a Vtech video monitor in combination with a separate Vtech audio monitor. My theory was to have a separate audio monitor because we ‘only’ want to turn on the video monitor when we hear noises or want to see what is happening. To-date this has been a great way to monitor, however, we did notice that the Vtech took a while to connect to each time we opened the app, and the camera had ZERO ability to monitor vitals. Sometimes we could see him on camera but we could not see his breathing which was a little disconcerting at times. The bottom line is we decided we wanted a system that would monitor vitals and sleeping, all of which the Miku camera does without any additional attachments. The other options required strapping monitoring devices on our son, which we didn’t want to do.Pro’s of Miku: Extremely professional and clean packaging. Very easy to setup and easy to follow instructions. Ultra-modern looking, Apple like… Easy to use app. Being able to see your baby is breathing “at a glace” makes this system worth it’s weight in gold – absolutely priceless! In our case, we can click on the app at any time to check on our boy for piece of mind, and especially if we hear a noise or peep coming from his room. Occasionally we will just leave the app open on our phones and continue to monitor him during the first part of his sleeping. We love how the system is able to alert us when he has moved, awake, or sleeping. It’s like a video nanny watching over him which is so awesome. Another pro is the ability to review his sleep analytics night after night. So far this looks to be rather accurate and another huge benefit we didn’t have with our basic camera. If the ability to monitor vitals and sleep patterns is important to you, this is the camera you want, period.Con’s of Miku: No zoom capability. Average resolution at best. Instructions ask you to mount the camera incredibly low as compared to where you can mount other camera systems with zoom. No movement availability, meaning you cannot remotely change camera angles (however, this probably would contradict the benefits of the vital monitoring if your camera wasn’t always pointed perfectly at the crib). The app reports “movement” activity every few minutes under “activity”, which is confusing to us. We can check many of the “movement” reports and we don’t see him moving. Perhaps this is part of the vital monitoring, but I believe Miku needs to make an update to this portion – it’s confusing more than helpful.Final notes: Even if your intention if to have a moveable and zooming camera at some point when your child is older, this is the ONLY way to go for the first year or two of their life. The piece of mind you get knowing that you baby is healthy, breathing well, and sleeping soundly makes this investment an absolute must-have for all new parents.

My two cents about GoPro
First of all, I'm going to start out by saying I purchased my GoPro from a BestBuy store and not on Amazon. This camera is compact and amazing to bring on the go! The battery dies super quick and the camera itself almost gets too hot to touch! But still a great quality camera for such a cheap price! But let's get to why I got mad and switched up from GoPro. What ever technology they use for their video exporting program for windows is trash. After waiting an hour and a half to render a 12 minute video the program decided to shut down. That's cool though, their program auto saves projects! Yay! Wrong. Constantly the program has told me it is unable to locate my files. Okay, I'll just manually find it! I click the right file and it tells me it couldn't open. So hours of editing and trimming were just gone. Since the render never finished I got some choppy quality edited video.I sold my GoPro Hero Session because the means for exporting videos is going to kill me. I've switched companies and will forever use Adobe.Camera is still a nice buy though for people with more patience than me!

Love/hate feelings about Osmo
First, I purchased Removu K1. I returned it just because the software/hardware is not ready for prime time in my opinion. Then I bought Osmo Pocket. I am keeping it, but I have very mixed fillings about this camera. It produces great picture, awesome stabilization, I love Mimo app. But... And there is a very big but... I hate modular implementation of this camera. You want wireless connection to your phone - get a separate module; you want to use GoPro accessories - get special connectors; you want to use external mike - get a special module and if you are connecting wirelessly to the phone you cannot use external mike... and if you want to use wireless module - it will physically block noise cancellation mike on Osmo. If I want to connect it to my Android phone via cable it starts charging Android phone, draining the battery. Battery - I'd like to have bigger battery, I agree for the cameta to be bigger! C-mon! I agree to pay more because camera is awesome! Just build everything together in one device, add removable battery and it will be an awesome product! This is the main issue I have with Osmo Pocket. Otherwiseit is a great camera.

Don't have a GoPro, but perfect for my purposes
I wanted a less expensive camera to take on vacation. I recently realized that I'm only taking pictures and videos from my Iphone, and I was missing so many memories because I ran out of memory, power, or I just didn't want to hold that stupid phone again. Enter the Akaso camera and a cheap selfie stick I also bought on Amazon. It's perfect for my needs. The picture quality is WAY better than I expected (a little bit fish eyed, but I haven't changed the settings because it looks cool) and the remote I didn't think I'd use is the thing I use the MOST! I added it to the base of the selfie stick as a simple mod with the included bands.I tried a cheaper action camera only to find the files wouldn't play on my MAC that I use for IMovie. The Akaso camera works flawlessly with my MAC mounted as a Mass Storage Device.I can't speak to scuba diving, sky diving, or motorcycles, but this thing is perfect for traveling, and if it falls into a lake, I'll just buy another one. Hell, I can buy 8 and its still cheaper than the GoPro

works great and very easy set up
I purchased this camera to make cooking videos for the community at the school that I work for. I wanted something that was better than my phone and that I could download onto my computer so I could edit the video footage. This camera bundle exceeded my expectations. For the price point I was not expecting much. what I got was a very pleasant surprise. I asked my middle child to unpack and it give it the once over because they are the videographer of the family. They were surprised by what was in the package, the ease of setting up and using it and the video and audio quality that the camera had. We did some test videos and it worked flawlessly. Yes we had to set up the recording area and made sure the lighting was right but the camera recorded it like a champ. Also we were able to get the files over to the computer lickety split and we had a fully edited video done much quicker and easier than I expected.Do yourself a favor and check it out. for the price point and the quality of the product you can't say no. I am pleasantly surprised and it has exceeded my expectations.I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to dabble with videos. Well worth it.

Perfect speaker for travel
I recently purchased this speaker after researching several portable Bluetooth speakers. Let me start by saying while I think this speaker is fantastic, I am not a bose "fanboy". I own a few bose products as well as sonos, anka, and others. I do not believe (rather I know) there is a single one size fits all brand for audio. I looked at several other Bluetooth speakers in the 100--300 price range before purchasing the soundcolor 2 (aqua blue). I was looking for a portable speaker to travel with when I travel for either business or vacation. The priorities for me in a speaker was sound, portability/ruggedness and battery life. This unit for my application is perfect. It sounds fantastic. As I write this review there is a gentleman sitting about 10 feet away from me using a beats pill, my speaker (listening to Pink Floyd pulse streaming in Apple Music) sounds full and rich while his (listening bon jovi) sounds thin almost as if playing from his phone speaker. The form factor of this speaker is perfect to throw in a bag, it is made of hard rubber and feels like it can sustain a drop and being knocked around in a bag. It does not look or feel cheap. I looked at the bose sound link mini and the 3. Both sounded fine, the 3 being the loudest and fullest the mini does not sound as good as the sound color with the sounds I played through them at Best Buy (Metallica, seal. Richie kotzen, Steve vai). I also did not want something so aesthetically engineered that it would require a case or bumper to travel with. I also played the beats pill and was very bass heavy for me while the sound color sounded much fuller and balanced. Battery life in this unit says 8 hours but I have gotten at least 9 without the unit dying. For how I plan on using this I do not care about a 15-20 battery life. For the casual traveler this unit is perfect. I listen to a wide variety of music from classical to heavy metal as well as podcasts and this unit sounds great with all of those genres. I hope this is helpful

Excellent quality!
Picture quality is crystal clear, camera pans and tilts to get the best view of your little one, and it even detects the room temp! As first time parents, we love this product and the peace of mind it gives us!

We already have two cameras at home currently and we have been using those for quite a long time. Only the problem, those are not battery operated cameras and not wireless. This time, we were looking for wireless since it is easy to install a comparatively wired one. Now, talking about battery life. I installed it just a few days back so I really have to look at a few more days for the better life of the camera. But, my brother has the same brand camera at home and he said the battery works really fine and it works around 3 months, and then it needs to charge again. You can charge the battery very easily with a USB cable or you can also adopt the solar panel as an extra power supply if you don't want to use extra electricity for the cameras to charge and that way, you dun need to charge that often if you install it with a solar panel.Pros:(1) Wireless camera: when you have a camera with wire, it looks more classy because you don't need to worry about the wires hanging on the wall which are quite visible to everyone. This one we want to install in our main hall so we didn/t wants that wire is hanging from the wall side and the quest can see that easily when they enter the hall area. So, that is the main benefit when you have a wireless camera at home(2) Battery life: Now, talking about battery life. As a result, notification kept showing me on my mobile screen. So, if they install some software that can recognize the difference between pets and humans then it would be really great. All in all, it’s a win-win feature for this camera. Go grab it.
