Good easy camera
Just received this camera and so far I'm impressed with the ease of use. I would have liked a better intro as to the fact that there is a USB cord included where you can charge the unit using fast charging instead of the description saying that it will take 25 hours of sunlight to charge. Not that was that big of deal but setting it up was a breeze. I had it up and running in less than 15 minutes. The camera does all they say it will. I was concerned about the pan/tilt function since the instructions do not address it but as soon as I paired it and saw the picture it had the functions right on the picture. So far I would recommend this product however only time will tell.

Beautiful
Oh my. Until I stumbled across this thing I had no idea that a modern day flash like this existed, but as soon as I saw it I knew I needed it in my life.To be honest I don't use my camera as much as I used to. A few years ago I traded in my bulky Canon SLR for a pocket sized Sony Nex-7, a slightly retro looking camera, and a range of unusual vintage lenses, and after a brief bout of enthusiasm the camera now serves more as an ornament than a working tool. I do still take it out on occasion, though, and as the built in flash is spectacularly useless I use an ugly Canon Speedlite that looks entirely out of place with my vintage Leica glass. This, though... Jeeeeeez. The Godox Lux Senior is a thing of beauty. Not only does it look cool as hell on my camera - both while it's in use and while it's sat on my shelf - it's also a perfectly functional flash. This isn't just decorative. You'd need to speak to someone more technically knowledgeable than me to find out exactly how this differs in performance from a typical modern flash, but as a cheerful amateur I'm more than happy with the results.

Can detect motion from night time visitors
It is very interesting to watch the night time activities that happen in my driveway, now I look forward to clicking on those wee hours motion detection alerts. I have been enjoying those night time visitors, even ones I would not want to meet in person including coyotes, skunks, raccoons. Since installing the camera, I have had my own wildlife nocturnal animal view-cam watching these animals. I wasn't aware that there is a raccoon family of four living in the storm drain in front of my house until I saw this video and the longer distance that it covers. The lights are not on in the driveway at night.Enough said about nocturnal animals, this camera gives me a great view of my driveway, folks walking along the street as well as anyone approaching the house and using my driveway as a turnaround central, something I am trying to fix. I have been able to identify the parties who used my private driveway as their personal turnaround central and talked to them to stop the practice.I would recommend this camera, the PTZ function is an added bonus as well the solar panel, no need to climb a ladder to adjust the tilt angle or remove the camera to charge the battery.

Simple set-up and installation. Battery life is lo
Very easy set-up once you download the app. Installation was easy, which was why I chose this camera. I didn’t use the magnet, used two screws. It will be easy to unscrew (not the installation screws, the camera unscrews) and charge when the time comes. The picture is good, even though it says the signal is low. I couldn’t figure out how to connect with Alexa since the product doesn’t show up in the list of compatible devices. I contacted the seller and was quickly sent easy to follow instructions and that works well.My only issue is notifications. “Motion” will give you notifications way too much, which will drain the battery. “Person detection” doesn’t work all the time, I tested with my daughter walking around my cars and it didn’t go off. But it did go off when I did. So there is that. I’m not too worried. It’s just an extra layer of security. The camera is visible and I keep the area lighted at night. For the price and ease of installation, this is worth it. Also, not using the cloud, just the internal storage. Seems adequate. Will update after a few months since I’ve only had it a few days. So far, very happy.Update: January 18th, 2022. Camera still works great. The battery lasts a couple weeks. Best to not let the battery drain too far or you might have to link it up again. No big deal, but easier to just recharge at 40%. Doesn’t take long to charge. I’m really happy with this camera. Highly recommend.

So impressed, I bought a second one.
Took a chance on this flashgun after reading many of the reviews. The good news for me was that it works with my Canon Power Shot SX20 IS, which isn't a DSLR but works like one anyway. Used it straight out of the box (after installing batteries that are not included) and got amazing results using it as a slave unit. For anyone that doesn't know, a slave unit is a flashgun that is triggered by the flash that you have on your camera, allowing you to place the slave unit anywhere in a room and fill an area with light that isn't being lit with your cameras flash. You don't need wires, infra red sensors, wi-fi or a smart phone, the slave unit fires probably a thousandth of a second after your camera flash fires. That being said this thing is not going to communicate with your camera like some of these hi-tec flashguns do. You have to adjust things manually like the power output of the slave unit, ISO (light sensitivity on your camera), aperture setting (F-stop) and length of exposure (30th of a second, 100th of a second, etc.). For the money, it's amazing. I would recommend using a tripod for the slave unit (even a cheap one) for ease of use and flexibility.

Works fantastic - catches burglars!
We purchased this to put inside an unoccupied house that we are in the process of restoring and re-wiring. Earlier in the year we had a break in by tweekers who proceeded to cause thousands of dollars of damage by cutting all the exposed Romex wiring in the building. After placing this camera inside the building, it only took about another month and a half before another break-in. This time the camera was on and I heard the VicoHome app "ping" go off on my cell phone a little after 2 a.m. (I leave the volume way up each night and place the phone close at hand). I could immediately see a tweeker inside the building moving about. A call to 911 got local police on scene surrounding the building in minutes. I was able to give dispatch a live play-by-play of the tweeker as he was seeking to exit the building (I did not push the alarm or try to talk through the camera, preferring to give police an element of stealth). Officers arrested the guy and he is now in the county jail awaiting trial. I couldn't be happier with how well this camera worked. With the captured recording, we have further evidence for prosecution. Video quality is excellent and trigger response time, even in total darkness, is reliable and quick.

A lot of value for the money
I was looking for an affordable camera system to keep an eye on my two pups, and these Wyze cameras exceeded my expectations. Having them for about a year now, they’re still going strong. I use mine indoors exclusively, so I cannot comment on outside use, but for the money these cameras do exactly what I need them to do. My favorite feature is the ability to operate them from the app on my phone, which makes it very easy to change modes or make other adjustments. Whether streaming or recording, I haven’t run into any problems. From your phone, you can adjust night vision and the sensitivity of your detection settings, even going so far as to create a detection zone, where you’re only notified of a detection within a given area of the camera’s sight, rather than detecting everything the camera can see.The firmware is regularly updated, and setup is a breeze. Once you’re set up for the first time, it’s as simple as plugging it in wherever you see fit. If you have multiple cameras, they’re all on your app. While detection is always improving, your detection notifications will go off a lot if your camera can see objects that move a lot (like a branch in the wind, for example). While the camera detects people and pets, it also detects general motion. You can adjust the sensitivity, but it won’t completely resolve the issue. Since I use mine indoors, I don’t have this issue. But if you’re planning to utilize these for outside use, it could become a problem.

Decent enough for the money
I'm using this as a helmet camera on my motorcycle. The image quality is decent enough, and it has a good field of view.I was looking for some sort of camera to stick on my helmet. It comes with plenty of adapters and mounting options in the box. They're all decent, but noticeably inferior to GoPro brand adapters. But they're free, so whatever. It comes with two cases, which you have to use if you want to mount it to anything. The sound quality upon playback is extremely quiet, and there's no way that I can find for an external mic to be connected. If there were, I'd rate this 5 stars. The image quality overall is great for a $50 gopro knockoff. No complaints there at all.My two major gripes with this are the battery life and the companion app. At 1080p 60 fps, it lasts maybe 45 minutes, and it only comes with two batteries, so I would advise against this if you plan on using it to shoot longer videos, or at least buy some extra or higher-capacity batteries to go along with it. The companion app also is garbage. This stems from two factors, mainly. Number one is that the app itself is poorly programmed. It's clear that the development team didn't really focus too much on the app, and more on the camera itself. The second is that the WiFi feature is that the camera puts out its own wifi signal that you have to manually connect to the first time to be able to easily manage anything on the camera. Why they couldn't have simply used bluetooth is beyond me. But I digress.Overall, this is a good alternative to a $800 gopro. It shoots great quality video for the money, but it's slightly lacking in other departments.

Camera seems very good so far
Installed this camera over my garage door to allow views of our cars parked in the driveway. There are no windows on that side of the house, so we were essentially blind to that side.So far, the camera does what I wanted it to do. The pan/tilt feature allows a 180-degree view of one entire side of our property. I haven't installed an SD card yet, but I understand from other reviews that the card must be removed to download video. This is only a minor inconvenience as far as I'm concerned - I hope I never need video "evidence" of nefarious activity in my neighborhood. The video quality seems to be very good, including at night; I have not tested the audio to date, so I can't comment on that.I had no connection issues even though my router is on a different level of my house (basement) than the camera. The app also is adequate for my needs.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this camera so far. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I want to see how it performs over a longer period of time; I've only had it operating for a couple of weeks to date.
